Hi.

As for the best fuel Naptha (white gassoline/coleman fuel) seems best for

optimus stoves heat output wise.

As with the optimus 199 you can get a silent burner for the nova 85.

I've managed to get both stoves burning alcohol (methyl hydrate) very well.

Diesel does burn in the nova 85/ However i would thin it out with a bit of alcohol or naptha first.

I would never recommend regular gasoline in this stove.

I am planning to buy an Optimus Nova, I am confuced beteween Optimus Nova and Nova+.

Could you suggest me which would be buttter buy? I would not have Coleman fule available in my country, so I would mostely use Kerosene, maby be gasoline at times?

Diesel is not a good fuel for this stove, only in an emergency

Yes! This stove is equivalent to white gas,petrol,unleaded,kerosene and diesel.
