Interesting. One could ask where guilt comes from? It comes from society. Those who set the norms in society are responsible for how guilt is transmitted. In the past people would feel 'guilty about being homosexual. Today it is not such a problem (unless you are religious). So, you need to tackle those who construct 'norms' in society. They are invariably: powerful elites, powerful politicians, and all religious people.
To be human is normal. To feel and act as a human is not a sin.
Religion is one of the sources of guilt, amount others. Guilt begins with the believe in good and bad. Hollywood constantly plays with this concept of evil, on the TV, the news and all the shows emphasize this believe. I do not believe in sin. I think we are all trying to do the best we can. The concept of evil is the true problem of the world. I am not religious, but I m spiritual. I do believe in a greater force but this force will not judge and condemn anyone.
Very interesting and insightful...as usual! It occured to me that the story of Cain and Able pertains. When Gd warns Able that when he lets his counternance fall...sin creepeth at the door. Able ends up killing Cain. A third way people might deal with judgement?

To forgive immediately every time you judge is the third way. I had notice about the switch of names but I knew what you had meant.
