With all due respect, when an (any admin.) administration doesn't tackle major economic issues both systematic and internal nor does it respond to the demands of the people; these issues pile up and finally explode. If leaders do not have the foresight to see that the train is moving down the wrong path and only come to the rescue when there is a crash - such leaders are reactionary and not pro-active. Their silence is a disservice to the nation and its citizen.

Karroubi makes a good point - why did Moussavi not participate in the government for the past 20 to 25 years. Iran's issues have not just started in the past 4 years! Why was he indifferent during these years to what was taking place in Iran if he believed he could change it or at minimum ameliorate the situation? And what makes one feel that he is up-to-date with the current dynamics in the world and knows how to handle all of Iran's enemies and deal with the internal policies of today!
Thats exactly what I am thinking. Where was Moussavi when all these issues started. Did he ever speak up in the last 20 years. At least Karroubi was brave enough to talk about many of the issues that Moussavi or even Khatami were never brave enough to get into. Many of these problems that Moussavi claims to have seen as dangers which made him come back into politics did not start in the past 4 years; but are as a result of people like him being silent for the past 2 decades. IM VOTING KARROUBI.
