  • Time paradox. The cyborg was sent from the future by the guy who designed said cyborg after a girl he met. The girl it turns out is from even farther in the future who downloaded the memories of the cyborg who was designed because of her. So if she didn't go back in time then their wouldn't have been a cyborg but she wouldn't have gone back if she didn't find the cyborg and got the memory chip?

  • Jiro does love the Cyborg but without the girl he wouldn't have been so welcoming to her. She was crucial to their relationship and Jiro did fall for her.

  • I feel the exact same way, the title is "Cyborg She" after all - I'd have loved a happy ending with Jiro and the Cyborg finally becoming one, they went through so much and the Cyborg was even starting to become humanlike... Honestly, after finishing the movie, my heart shattered into pieces. "Why? Just why has it all amounted to seemingly nothing?" But kudos to the director for this beautiful movie. My tears kept falling and it left me wondering too - about love and life.

    Maybe it's because Jiro and she were truly in love - with the real girl it was just a brief encounter that to me, didn't account for much. I truly felt the beauty of this movie, that Jiro and his cyborg partner were oddly put together... yet at the same time, oddly meant to be. I was hoping that they would be together at the very end, I'm still struggling with the aftermath of watching this movie, the overflowing emotions...

  • @xmistdream Wow, I didn't know anyone else would share such similar sentiments.Felt hollow even though it played out to be a 'happy ending'. Jiro and th cyborg spent so much more memorable moments tog, or because the director spent so much effort developing the the not-so-mundane stuff that Jiro/cyborg experienced, the close bond they shared, time travel and all, that was made possible by his cyborg partner, though it's supposedly modelled to be like a real girl hailing from he future.

  • Sorry but i found nothing confusing here, the story is well writen. He fell in love with the real girl from the past, so he made a robot that look just like her to save him from the shooting man from the restaurant and from all the bad things that happen to the people from his city.

    But next part is great, it changed the ending of his life that we see in this part. :D

  • Totally unexpected and so many of my doubts are cleared now....But i can't help but cry, the girl was real...she was fucking real! But the Robot was a complete sweetheart too...this movie, though fun, is unbelievably sad....

  • oh wow! I was wondering why the girl's second arrival, she was soo robotic like non human emotions and movements, but the first one was actually a girl! The Real girl was really adventurous and real... The timeline was made smart but confusing,haha..

  • so basically, the girl from the future discovers that a robot looks like her which made her curious so she went to the past and met the dude,so when the girl from the future visits him, he fell inlove, so in the future he invents her to prevent all those disasters..the time line was well made but too confusing..
