Hello Cliffski2, I am "TheLongestUsernameYou'llEverS­ee" on Steam, and I recently won this game for free from the great gift pile. It came with the regular game and this DLC, however, I cannot find how to activate this DLC. It said on the gift package description that it came with "Gratuitous Space Battles, Gratuitous Space Battles: Galactic Conquest".

If you have any idea how to help me fix this problem, please PM or reply back. Thanks!

@Bartschinator Fair enough. In case you're interested it's dead easy to port sins to mac if you have a PC or boot camp and it works brilliantly ;)

Well, like it said it takes ship designs made by other players and introduces them into your instance of play, like spore.

FYI Empire at war would have been a better comparison, since Battlefronts galactic conquest are, well.. less than impressive -__-

It is just more of an strategy curiosity in an FPS than being galactic conquest.

I would soooo get this if it wasn't for the requirement to be constantly online. Ubishit DRM is enough like this.

Also, it would be nice to have it for steam, if the requirement was taken off or turned into an option.

@Trusteft The game is desigend around playing other players fleets, so if wasn't online, you wouldn't be able to fight any battles. It's not DRM, it's an online game.

Yes I know, that's why I said as an option. You know, the way the campaign is for every other single player game. Don't get me wrong, the way it is, it is very cool and clever, but I would still want it as I mentioned earlier.

Also, while technically it isn't a DRM, if it works like a DRM and you can't play it as if it was a DRM, then it might as well be a DRM. The result is the same.
