Some guy all dressed up in a union jack. This tune is a Jagger's comment on the Queen of England, all dressed up in red wnite and blue and her teeth ready sharpend to bite.....
This is the stones Best album. It's very versatile, and also progressive for its time. I love most all the stones music, but theirs something very special about this album. It's very fresh, but at the same time just as fun as the previous stones albums before it. It's the stones at their peak in creativity. A peak that would last into the early 70's.
The sheet music for the piano part, which is played by Jack Nitzsche, for the Rolling Stones' "Cool, Calm and Collected" can be found at manymidi.com/sheetmusic.htm.

Love your video! I'd subscribe, but You Tube won't let me. I get this message: 'You have too many subscriptions compared to your number of subscribers'.
@louiseduvee ooh I never saw something like that before! I have zero subcribers and probably up to 50 subscriptions. I hope this isn't some new stupidity...
This track is not stupid at all. I admit, it is not as good as their later masterpieces, but it is so COOOL. Sounds like they are playing for pure fun, and they are damn good at it.
Very original sound and video (some the phothograps are schocking- i hope that Brian Jones was'nt neonazist) .Between the Button is very good record in my opinion.
2:20... that guy with the 6011 ID# has the most cool calm collected jailbird mug I've ever seen in my whole life !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! thanx you, bestrockintheworld ... and....

I imagine Jagger being one of the sexy ladies in a fun house when I listen to do this, don't know why. So perfect.

Am I crazy or does the picture at 0:58 look exactly like the cover for The Doors "Waiting for the Sun"?

That because they did not have Brian Jones to make their music special.

@lennon757 I think it is better than most of their later stuff. From the 70s onwards they mostly stopped experimenting.

Stupid track from an odd Stones album ; what WERE they doing here ?
kenfig 1 year ago
@kenfig They were experimenting, which was more than they did in their later days.

@fidomusic yes they sure were

Great Post, ..Thanks.
This was the first song I listened to after I altered my state. :-)
Brian was the guy---(playing dulcimer on this track, as I remember?), He started the group and was the Leader. Fun stuff to listen to back then.
BTW, Thank God for Headphones !!
