in my case the problem was because of the PSU... i went back to the shop where i got my PSU and changed it with a new one of Zalman ever since NO PROBLEMS anymore.. :D
Alright, im going to try my best here...Go ahead and Clear Your Cmos. Sometimes people overclock too far and when they try to run certian things that are processor intensive it cut's power. Once you Reset cmos try playing again. If it still shuts down please reply with the Temps of your GPU'S. Both of them. On full load and idle. thanks
though my comp is totally not as high-tech as yours, mine showed the same symptom and uh... i realized the power chord... the connection for the electricity to go into the computer...? the head of the chord was loosened cause it has been there for quite a long time so i replaced it and it works fine
thats the heatsink i think, because the cpu is overclocked the fan changes speeds constantly
and this only happens on Crysis, nothing else
i think the problem might be a corrupt file on the disk, because i deleted all of the Crysis files on C: drive and re-installed the game and it still happens
yeah probably. but i dont get how it would get control of your whole system through a game lol. im just wondering. is the real crysis better performing than the demo? because with 3 9800 gtx+'s i can really only play very high without AA at 1920 by 1200
thats a wierd problem, i had the same problem but with a low end system and a brand name psu, i fried two of them, lol, it might be the power supply dieing, believe me ive gone trough enough of them
Nice rig.

all i could narrow it down to is the psu or a corrupt file. whats your psu wattage?
mda40000 3 years ago
850W
which is plenty, i think its the corrupt file because it doesnt happen with anything else, just Crysis
