would you compare these to a whelen tir3 or lin 3? are they better or worse?

They are bigger than a TIR3, smaller than a TIR6. They have 4 TIR LEDs with bigger reflectors.

no necessarily brighter or dimmer, just more light output. Buy both and compare for yourself...
