  • i just have one question how and where did you find your alternators? and how did you put 4 of them in your tahoe! :O

  • long sleeves in welding? are you crazy???

  • @KingScarface1 Dude when you weld its three times brighter than the sun which means three times the more UV rays on your skin

  • @SLAYER1805 he is talkin about a shirt, not fire resistant, but yea thnx for the tip, im trying to become a welder/engineer!

  • @KingScarface1 oh if youre gonna do that go to walmart and they have long sleeve dickies shirts and thats what i use and make sure to wear jean pants too

  • how many cars u got

  • I wonder if you can return the truck back to the dealer!!! LMAO!!!

  • @Zlaja16 its been a couple months the damn welds arent goin anywheres dumbass

  • i hope the welds are going to be strong enough

  • Man I love the designs man if I had the money I would get ya to make me something but for now I guess I'll stick with my 2 Kicker CVR's and BOSS 6x9's actually I'm listening to this right now on them I have them hooked up in my room. Have you ever done anything inside like in a house or anything like that besides on the vehicles?

  • i would add insulation around them..unless i lived in like cali.

  • You are a mad man,but I can respect it. Keep that shit going. Oh and big props to lil one, right there in the mix, trying to learn something.

  • holy crap dude! that is a major rebuild for a stereo system but the hell with it, trading 20000 watts for 30000 watts is woth it......i do that to my subaru but i dont have money time and the fact that im 15 i cant do it.

  • you cant fit 30kw in a subaru man..there is now way

  • koo glad to hear it meade.. i still want you to make me some door panels... but the rebiuld of the tahoe is sick bro.. hey do you think you can post a vid of were you get the netting for the fiberglass and how you mix it in detail..?

  • lotta weight in that azz lol. good job on the battery rack man. im not gonna lie i would have been nervous about wether that metal would have been strong enough but you probly know already if it is or not. idk good job dude. hold it down for the custom installers

  • Good job! but why don't cover other cars? (not profi :))

  • why are people worried about YOUR truck?

i think its hella badass what you are doing PROPS!

  • OUTSTANDING job Steve..

  • this is a big mod man i can learn su cool shit from ur vids

  • Hey man do u listen to your subs while driving? ever been in trouble with the cops? i know im from australia so we prob have diffrent laws but my 2 12"s hit hard enough for me to get pulled over :(

  • you should put diamond plate all around the bottom and bottom sides of it

  • Had to go back and comment this one, wth? why do people keep doubting your integrity? You have planned the whole system out, with percision, and followed through on everything thus far. Exellent work.

  • I love your steez big man - This shit is PRO!

BTW - Your Fire Alarm Battery Is Low - LOL - Beep Beep

  • steve what are you doing with all your old equipment? are you selling any of it???

  • steve are you a master fabricator? cuz your shit is damn good keep it up man

  • Clean

  • Over 200 comments and 90% is about sealing up the battery box. Do you people really think that Steve is going to put that much time and thought into designing this system and just leave the batteries exposed to the elements. Common sense people, thats almost like leaving the windows down in a rainstorm. Excellent work so far Steve, keep it up!!!

  • maan steve, u doin it big time. battery rack came out nice. good job bro.

  • steve u sellin your honda an tome soon :P and is it air ride

  • that looks nice

  • steve donate me one amplifier please! i want at least 1 % of your bass

  • See thats the thing you would think, but i pretty sure that steve alsogets most of his shit sponsored or atleast discounted because while hes showing the vid hes in some way or another helping sell their products. check his website most the products hes using are all listed on his website... correct me if im wrong steve

  • Good stuff!

  • dude i just looked up those batteries cuz i wanted to upgrade my optima...wow dude thyre 500 each.. meaning youre gonna put 10... thats $5000 on just* (*its a big part but still) the batteries =P

  • man he spend a lot of money !

  • damn even with dynamat his truck still rattles lol

  • you are a gooooooooooooooood customer steve :))

  • dude im lovin the dirty south music you got in the background good to see another support and sick idea for battery rack man its looking real good cant wait to see the Tahoe on roids now

  • Safety :DD

  • OOH YOU HAVE A TRAXXAS REVO

are you like rich ass or something

is there anything you dont have haha

  • it also wouldnt be a bad idea to wrap the gas tank filler neck tube with some heat resistant flame retardant shit just in case of a "melt down", other than that NIIIICE!!!!!!

  • seriously,,,,,, it would be wise to also bolt the tray to the frame aswell,,,, i'll explain later,,,,

  • it isnt going anywhere, no need to explain now or later :) thanks anyway.

  • @siTTinLo420 So a bolt is stronger than a weld?

  • oh shit, i saw u man handling that battery with ease at the beginning, u had me scared for a second, then i read the caption haha

  • dang... Steve your neighbour must really despise you. all that chop saw and grinding noise rite now and later 30,000 watts of pure bass to knock the pictures off his walls your gonna make him move out......huh.

  • what happen when its rainning, ur gonna get shocked lol

  • yea, great place to put em. but be sure to put shiit around them so they dont get wet in the rain...

  • are you going to be waterproofing the bottom?

  • aaiightt!! datz gonna be very very good!!!

  • perfet (Y)

  • your a very skilled man cant wait to see the next video

  • woow

  • so ummm

why did you need the four legs?

  • So the batteries would be below the floor for more space on the inside

  • Eyy steve didnt you say you were gonna put like 10 XS power batteries on your hoe.? Were are the rest gonna go.?

  • I'm gonna guess he's gonna use this new batt rack in addition to the old one under the box...

  • In the truck like before.

  • steve is there anything you can't do..you are the man..you got a gift brotha..i wish i was half as talented. keep it up .. and you gotta share with us if chickens paying for that caddy install and about how much.just to put in prespective..please thanks tony c in rhode island

  • the money part is no ones business but mine but thanks for that other stuff though! :)

  • nice

  • meade bro your right.. ..sorry for the lack of respect..

  • no worries bro im not mad at you and you werent disrespectful at all - trust me i get a lot of shit on youtube and your comment was a good one! thanks my bro.

  • steve looks like he's not that happy about fuckin his truck up

  • steve u must be a welder or fabricator at yer job. thats damn nice work bro!!! nice little miller my uncle has one.

  • looks sexy.

i would think you should cover up the bottom of the battery rack so that you can protect the batteries from rocks, and weather like rain from below.

  • yup!! what about the rain wather from below???

  • It will be sealed

  • sick man

  • thats cool i thought it was gonna show the big battery frame from the back but it dont, nice work 5*****

  • It seem that you don't care about weight.

  • now thats HOT, nice job 5/5

  • now that there's no more batteries on the inside of the trunk, means the box could be that much bigger

  • theres still batteries inside!!hes jus adding five

  • nice Revo 3.3 XD :P

  • looking sick ass fuck man, cant wait to see the new shit

  • nice

  • good work ;)

  • not only rocks... but does it not rain in cali. or are you just not worried about water and moisture

  • i dont think he will take that thing out in the rain haha

  • I want your truck

  • what i would do is cut up some sheet metal to cover up the rest of that box. and then make like a door with the holes for all them big wires to go thru for an easier access. before all that, seal off between the box and the body of the truck with a bit more sheet metal., but not my truck, not my decision...

STEVE, asesome job so far on this truck. i'm really impressed man.

  • i hope the welds don't crack from frame flex over big bumps or something like that. i'd hate to look in my rearview and see 5 high end batteries sliding down the road

  • dude don't wanna say that but batteries will fall down on the road while you be driving

  • or rocks might come bouncing and hit them! he needs a metal sheet around them.!

  • wish i had a dude like you to help me out on my 92 s10 blazer you definitely do work! You do an amazing tutorial walkthrough and great info on the site!

  • Steve your a winner

  • hey dude what do u do for money ?

  • Thats Clean work Steve.. Much Respect on the system, Would it be dificult to do something like that on a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee?

  • What's up meade, this is ya boy Brooks from Houston, TX. I'm impressed by your work. Not to be affiliatted with any shop, and to do all this on your own, half the people posting bullshit can't even do half of that. Keep banging bro!!!!!!

  • Not all people who are posting on this site are morons, trying to get props by standing on Steve's nuts like you are. Get a life.

  • Comment removed

  • lol at marky

but this is coming along nicely bro

  • ur gonna get the cops on ur ass if u have that shit any louder

  • probably had them already im sure he has givin them some demos lol

  • Sweet! And arnt you happy everybody is telling you how to build a box?!?

  • do some more vids on the beast steve

  • looks clean man nice work

  • btw, You should build a box around those batterys, you would be way better off, with them boxed in, to keep them from weather damage, and anything that flys up from the street and hit them and may puncture them.

  • Steve you are the man great job again we all love watching the build.

  • Yeah that's the only thing I was thinking about.. how are you going to seal those batteries up to protect them from the weather?

I mean.. all I saw was a rack, I imagine you're going to need some sort of cover on it

And with that gaping hole in the rear, how are you going to seal that up acoustically to preserve sound quality inside the vehicle while still routing all those cables and fitting whatever it is you're going to stick in there? Second Skin Audio to the rescue maybe? Lol.

  • how many subs is he going to use! i'll be amazed if it's more than 8 18s cause that will be some extreme shit!!!

  • @ 0:48 thats that SLIM THUG BOSS OF ALL BOSSES.... still breakin boys off... got that chamillionare in it....

  • pick them all up and pull to the side of the road open up my tailgate and have a one stop battery shop 20$ each lol

  • big project yo! we're following you all the way to the end !! :)

  • Dam steve, that shit is fresh

  • hey steve is that a tig welder that your using?

  • MIG.... Wire feed... You have feed the rod in slowly when you tig weld... almost like gas welding....

  • what if you hit a pothole in the street and the whole rack falls out omg free batterys

  • lmfao......on the highyway, id still pick one up

  • yea that song is Welcome to Houston by Slim Thug Bosses of all Bosses

  • Thank you man! Thanks to unknownuser1070 too. Peace out \\//

  • Good job. I don't see any problem with the integrity of the frame being compromised because the enclosure will still sit on both parts of the floor. All you did was remove a portion that supports the floor where seats would normally be. The enclosure will use all of that room so the area of surface contact is still greater than that of the seats. If you were to add a little integrity I would add some type of crossmember to the bracing on the floor. Great job and good welding.

  • do work steve!!!! i can't wait!!!

  • Yo when u gonna tear up my 98 chevy venture, i need 8 15s i wonna scare my friends

  • are you gonna put some kind of protective cover on the outside of the drop down box, in case of water splashing up in the rain? or wont it matter that much

  • Indeed my friend I would definitely do that.. Else water WILL come in between the bottom plates and maybe into the back of the car

  • Lookin good, suggesting that you'd make some kinda of cover to those batteries so no water etc can cause damage and such.

  • Nice job steve

  • Hell yea i can see it now S.M.D AUDIO the best car audio shop in CA 3 floors of amps and subs each floor has three models with SMD shirts on and short shorts i am on a flight wright now LOL

  • hey steve.. nice job man! just a quick little suggestion though, I would weld a plate on the underside to protect the batteries from road debris. cant wait for the rest of the build!

  • Hell yea Slim Thug

  • this guy looks like MC Serch

  • he steve, i notice that lot's of people ask you a question but if they check all reactions most of the time the question has been answord for about 5 times.

    people blind???? or stupid????

THE BATTERY BOX IS GONNA BE CLOSED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    maybe this helped.......:-)

  • and yet, about 10 times AFTER you made this post, they are still "suggesting" i cover it up LOL.....i know they are just being nice but JESUS!!!! gimme a break, like im gonna leave a wide ass open hole in my truck and drive like that LOL

  • sweet as a nut! 5

  • nice rc back there on the wall

  • gonna lose pressure wont you with a big ass hole?

  • i guess he will put the woffer over the bateries, so no hole to lose the pressure.

  • great job steve........ looks like your hoes puttin on some weight after her most recent weight loss ........keep phatin up that hoe and she`ll be banging hard for ya LOL

  • watchout for tha A/C lines ..... 10 batteries and need more room for box and amp its gona be big
