Hi, @deadfredshead, I need to answer your question because it's the first time I hear somebody complaining about the way to transccript 'from the head to the instrument', and what I can say is that, at least you're lucky enough to 'hear' something in your head ! my problem is that I can listen to thousand of tunes I love, once I hold the bass : head empty, more than frustrating, specially in front of a Marco Rodi video.

Just wanted to share this with you even if we can't help each other...
