The only reason UFC stayed around is becuase it's focused more on the show. Alot of UFC fighters are selected on personality and the UFC advertising campagin running doesn't do anything for amatuers like me who are trying to get the governments to support the sport at a grass root level.

Alot of Fighters said they would much rather fight in pride than UFC, purely becuase the UFC fans were often complete assholes.

But such things are thankfully changing.
