  • Thank you!

  • Yes, I understood. Thank you. I will show your model to my 7th grade life science students next week. My mistake was that I kept trying to think of a solid into solid diffusion. For example, when a meteor strikes a planet, is there solid into solid diffusion? Or would one metal diffuse into another, or one rock into another, only after heating and liquifying?

  • A good example of solid-solid diffussion would be the Steel, the Steel is an alloy consisting mostly of iron, with a carbon, and yes, like you mentioned, the temperature affects the process of diffussion.

    :)

  • Excellent model.

What is an example of solid diffusion? One of my studends asked me this, and I'm having a hard time finding an answer.

  • What is an example of solid diffusion?
