There are private ice rinks in mexico city,the diference here: is free,thats why you can see all that ppl waitng for hours,because they probably can not pay 5 or 6 or maybe 7 dollars each (aprox) for just 1 ,they rather to spend 20 cents of dollars(aprox) in the metro or subway.

There are other public skating rinks around the city...and unless you haven't been to Mexico City recently there is money being spent to help out the poor.

AMLO had only one personal employee, that was also a logistics coordinator, AMLO had almost no employees, his government spent a lot less than any other, and that is a fact, Altough NICO had a good salary, AMLO was far from having 15 persons attending him, his expenses were a lot lower than Foxs and other governors expenses.

Most cities in mexico havent bulit not even one public school in more than 10 years. mexico City government was accused to support to much poor people, they used to call them "populists". Most cities in mexico don't do this because they don't have the budget that the Mexico city major have, for every peso that any state pay in taxes to the federal budget the same state get only a few cents a year, all Mexico is working to support Mexico city and this is not fair. Yes Ebrard earns half that president Calderon but this ice rink was not paid with his money it was pay by all mexicans even the mexicans who have never been in Mexico city.

Thats completely untruth paquito Mexico is the most crowded city in the world, and is the city where more taxes are paid. About 25% f the taxes in the country are paid in Mexico, from those taxes, Mexico city only recovers a mininmum part. Every year the federal government reduces Mexico city budget. Yes Mexico City has more income because there are more citizens that pay more local taxes, and thats thanks to AMLO who dramtically increased local taxes income thanks to his programs.

Damn, that ice rink has Got to be massively expensive. Although I guess it gets more press and generates more smiles (at least on a day-to-day basis) than more houses. Houses decrease unhappiness, ice rinks increase happiness, it's not actually the same thing.
