  • very nice place :) wish i live in japan lol not sure about toilet thou

  • My kitchen equipment is same to mine !

  • Why did you use an English accent with the Japanese? e__e

  • No offence but i hate how americans/English speakers put such an enfisis(i don't know how to spell this word) on the Japanese letters like K, R and others...well pretty much every single one. Like how he said KO-nichiWA KORI DESU, does not sound right!!!!!1

  • is it me, or can you heat everything in that apartment

  • Sugoi o_o... SO BIG..

  • "there's the tpilet, nothing special...' are you kidding? it's got afreaking control station!! haha

  • Hey, man, I think the toilet (jack) is very special there ! :)

  • Oh I forgot to tell you, that the small balcony filled with glass is called a winter garden, where you can grow plants even in winter time. I guess there's a heater there somewhere. It's common in Berlin apartments and maybe the rest of Europe.

  • Very nice and spacious but expensive...Also, seems that there are special apartments like these for special people like a researcher.

  • The reason there is a shower separate from the bath is because you shouldn't get soap in the bath, so you wash yourself in the shower and rinse off. Then relax in the bathtub after a hard day of work! P.S. before you get in the bath you need to wet your entire body.

  • I love sitting on a cold toilet seat in a cold room. I have no idea why but it makes taking a dump interesting for me.

Maybe it's the thought of getting on with it so I can be warm again.

    Overshare?

    Overshare...

  • thats huge it looks like a hotel suite almost lol

  • I think the freezer at the very bottom is supposed to be where you store veggies. Well at least that's what my nan's refrigerator in HK is like....

  • nice what are you researching?

  • nice apartment

  • Urgh! The shakiness made me kind of sick but... lovely apartment. ^ ^

  • Tried having a bath when I was in Tokyo, not much use if you happen to be 6 feet tall like myself. It's a place very dear to my heart, been three times and will probably go again

  • i loveee you apartment. i would LOVE it if you could please please please please give e all the information for this apartment please. arigato.

  • its not two freezers its a freezer on the bottom and a less colder area on top for veges and stuff to keep fresh.

  • the new apartment is bigger WOW, very nice one. Cory you still live there and if not why did you move again? Did you have another bidet problem like the other video?

  • awesome :D, how much do you pay for it?

  • That's like a freaking Holiday Inn room, definitely not like the other places on YouTube. How much is that 180,000 yen? And why are you there? I'm thinking about teaching English over there.

  • what do you mean toilet "nothing speacil" it has buttons :D

  • ok, someone get me an apartment that big near tokyo :)

  • He's a researcher, ya'll. NOT a JET ALT. You will never get that huge apt as an ALT.

  • can a professor get such apartment there? i have heard professors r not paid much in Japan , is it true?

  • wow that is a huge place! lucky you

  • Heck yeah. It's massive. Hope my new apartment is like that! (Bet ya it won't be).

  • Hai Marblebebe is Correct! :)

    Beautiful Apartment.

  • we call it SHOUJI (sliding paper door)

  • You promised more vids.

  • that's crazy huge for a place in apartment!

  • i own that many shows lol

  • not 100% sure but i think ATL stands for assistant language teacher

  • What exactly is an ALT? Could someone please explain, sorry if I sound stupid for asking, but I honestly have no idea. And is it something you have to go to college for?

  • Hey. I'm Sara and I'll soon be working as an ALT in Tsukuba, Japan. Will I most likely be able to get an apartment like this one or your previous one? Or did you just get lucky? Lol.

    Thank you.

  • how much is this appartment, in US dollars?

  • you have the best japanese apartment ive seen on youtube so far! how many stove top burners do you have in your kitchen? i thought i counted 3 or 4

  • really nice place, so what type of comapany do you work for to be doing international research? \

  • What could two beds be needed for? Ever hear about the term girl-/boyfriend? Push the beds together. And that "spare" room seems to be a wintergarden. Quite a luxury.

  • Put a nice comfy seat on that other room where it echoes, and read a book there or listen to music while having a good view outside?

    Just a thought.

  • That's not a bad idea. Thanks! If I was staying longer than two months, then I might take the time and money to invest in a chair to put there, so maybe I will if I end up coming back for a longer duration in the future. My guess was confirmed by someone that you should hang your clothes there rather than outside to protect the from nature's forces lol. So if it's too cold in the winter for your clothes to dry outside, then you can hang them there instead.

Thanks again for the idea though! (^o^)

  • @EinsteinGuy The echoy room is probably for drying clothes in the winter.

  • wow it seems alot bigger than most apartments ive seen. How much does that run a month?

  • Well my company is paying for it, so i just pay for utilities (ie gas, water, electric), but from the website, it is: 1 person 76,000Y/2people 100,000Y. And I'm staying in the 2-person apartment (63 sq m). I also get free internet and good facilities. HOWEVER, you must be an international researcher in order to live in the building, and your stay is limited to 2 years. I posted the website into the description.

    I hope that helps! ^_^
