Put an end to all religion. Begin a relationship with Jesus Christ. You need to repent. Moreover, you should ask God for eternal forgiveness through applying the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ to your life of sin within the quietness of your bedroom tonight. As an unrepentant sinner myself, I made this decision around 15 years ago. This is the most important decision that you could ever make. - Romans 10:9-10
secondly, we all know that stories like that have gone through various interpretations and modification to fit those who were in possession of what might possibly be the real truth about these mystic stories. I could also clearly see how most of the debate were carried on rational and scientific approaches, so i'll like to remind people that science is a way of seing things, and it can't make total sense if it ignores other views as being useless since it doesn't detain the answer for everything
No one claimed to know ultimate truth but merely that what others claim to be ultimate truth isn't truth at all because it is clearly myth. Science and rational isn't ignorance of other views but it is the right way of forming knowledge. Where do you study Philosophy? Anyways, thanks for posting and thank you for the original insight.
I think that they have a point here, but as a philosopher i think it is safe to not claim that one knows the ultimate truth, or that something is completely wrong. I view christianity for it's teachings i.e Jesus said the truth comes from the inside of man and not from dead scriptures, so even if the real jesus might have been other people, it still makes sense that we could account for such a story.
