you should make a tutorial about ambush shots.let me explain:if you see a running or just fast moving enemy(not a vehicle,just a ground trooper),you put your crosshairs a good distance away from him,and depending on the speed of the target,you will use the side cross lines to preshoot,and kill him,looking like the target runs to the shooting spot.
I think your refering to leading your target so that they will run into the bullet at long range, because the bullet takes time to travel. This is partially covered in part 7 or 8.
Some BF3 snipers need to go back and watch this video and apply some of this video to some of there play tactics. Ive ran into too many people who ask me how to snipe well. I tell them well to play RECON well go to YouTube Sniper School
When I see a squad in my scope, an assault, an engineer, and a medic, I almost instantly lock onto the Medic and kill him first, this is what it means to "Kill the most important target first".
For me its a toss up between medic and sniper. Quite often you will get sniped before you can finish off the entire squad. A smart squad will run and grab that medic kit to start reviving the others. But medic is always a good first choice, because it will keep them pinned down with no easy revive option. Kinda depends on how good their sniper is at counter-sniping.

You have no idea of how much this helps in Bad Company 2, I've killed people across other maps when my internet went down. I just save my teammate three times a row, I wish I got it on tape! My teammate was in the open like an idiot and right before an enemy was about to stab him I shot him in the skull! Then he walked in a building and another enemy snuck up, bam! Then he again ran in the open and another enemy was in the building and he went up to the window where my teammate jumped out and was about to shoot him I took him out too!
This is the problem, the ASSault players have no idea how often they get saved by snipers. There is just no love for the silent warrior...
When I play assault/medic/engineer, I am very grateful to see that enemy fall flat right in front of me...thanks to a well placed precision round from a sniper in the rear who is doing his job.
@ryandpahl youre right, but sometimes i had the problem that there were too many snipers in my team and less assault players. Everybody should look which classes are needed more and should choose one out of these hes able to play. Im no good bf2 sniper so i dont play as one (but i practise in singleplayer :)
Limiting classes can be a good thing. PR does a good job of this. You can only have 1 sniper per 16 players on your team. Other classes are limited by how many people are in your squad. I really liked the system, but sometimes its a big race to get the first sniper kit.

A lot of snipers are dumb and try to come up close in the middle of battle and take you on 20 feet away and im usually support or assault or anti tank (something with a punch) so I kill them pretty easily. Well i played in a match that it was me and my squad. If we didnt stick together we were dead. Snipers, all around the map. I had no idea how i was going to survive but i did it. Because i was with my squad. I a sniper against lots of them. We were trapped in the forest, with snipers coming to kill us and some APCs. We called our pilot and he did an awesome extracion, we have to use fastropping so then the chopper wouldnt be destroyed. It was so nice sniping from the UH-60(PR gameplay)
using the tips from this series i was in a match last night in which i picked off 10 enemies from cycling postions on the map operation harvest, eventually they sent out 2 tanks to take me out so i layed still and didnt move and the tanks drove right on top of me but didnt see me, they started peppering the grass with machine gun fire, so on the teamchat i called in an airstrike on the tanks and a friendly apache gunship took them out with tv missles. Truly a battlefield moment.
The only thing COD has on BF is the weapon customization...if your into that. The perk system is RETARDED. And BF can be just as fast paced as COD, try playing with 64 players in a 16 player small map.
Fast paced games get boring just as fast. Slow the game down a little, start using real life tactics, and suddenly the replay value of the game goes up exponentially.
The commander/squd system is what really keeps BF ahead. Team play makes a game soooo much better!

@ryandpahl im corporal and i have 1490 points but my rank meter dont seem to go any higher, i need 2500 points to level but my meter isnt at half and i have more points then half u need.
Just a tip for noob snipers like me, download the demo and go practice your sniping there, thts how i got good. Killing other noobs=). Just be USMC fly onto the silo beside the MEC base or the hills by it. The demo only has gulf of oman

However, I am going to play BF3 when it comes out. IF, and thats a big IF, it is an awesome game that takes control of my life, I will probably end up making a new sniper school series based on BF3. Heres hoping!
i arldy follow the most part to hes tips and the end to the round finish with 50+ kills and 2 - 3 death no more and i dont lie in ince time i finish with 120 kills and i just die 5 times xD
these tutorials helped me when i started playing bf2 for the first time. I recently purchased a new computer and now i can finnaly play on max settings, on my old computer i was lagging on normal settings. Because of maximum draw distance i can spot enemies from much further away now
After watching your videos i had ranked up in game, letting me unlock some kits, i chose the L95 first, then ranked up again, looking through the unlock-able weapons i was unable to find the L96A1 i then went to my Bf2 Stats page and the rifle was not in the unlock-able weapons area, any tips on how to get the rile would be helpful.(Love your vids)

This series helped me when I first started playing BF2 so thanks, but in reality this 'classic' way of sniping by camping and hiding arguably isnt the most effective imo. With UAV, spot spamming and knowing the usual hiding places a camping sniper is often a sitting duck!
If you can learn the art of dragshooting and quickscoping then pushing forward with the rest of the team and sniping in close quarters can be more beneficial to the team. As well as usually getting more kills! :D
I am always attempting to have a big 0 in the death slot. Therefore making my ratio infinite. At the end of the round, most snipers have a 1:1 ratio, mabey 2:1.
Near the end of my BF2 career (i don't play anymore) I was getting 10:1 on average (although my stats won't reflect this). Very few snipers on the front lines can even dream of that ratio.
A snipers most prized posession, in life and in game, is stealth. Just my $0.02
@ryandpahl do you still only play in the winter months or are you done forever? and BFBC2 is sick i love cross map sniping ticks some peeps off with it... makes me smile :) rambo knifing is some legit skill to have too.

@ryandpahl Aww... well I actually have ArmA 2, but even though my notebook is one of the better ones it can't really keep up with what ArmA 2 demands (performance-wise). I used to play Operation Flashpoint (the first one) very extensively back in the old days... :)

What rank are you?
There is a limit on rank, master sargent I think, It won't let you proceed in rank untill you get a bunch of the basic badges.
Once you have the required badges, rank is purely based on experience.

Make sure your playing on ranked servers. experience only counts on ranked servers.
Some times the EA saerver takes a long time to update your stats.

could you record something that i dont know, cuz this reminds me much, of sniper ghost warrior, modern warfare and metro 2033, but good video btw all those who are bad at being sniper could really learn something here, but i would be thankful if you would make an new video were you come up with new ideas and new sniper stealth movement. but i think the part were u glithed was a good idea. :)

@duskedennis I don't play this game anymore, and have little interest in making more videos for it.
However, I am going to play BF3 when it comes out. IF, and thats a big IF, it is an awesome game that takes control of my life, I will probably end up making a new sniper school series based on BF3. Heres hoping!

i arldy follow the most part to hes tips and the end to the round finish with 50+ kills and 2 - 3 death no more and i dont lie in ince time i finish with 120 kills and i just die 5 times xD

3rd level, L96A1 is by far the best. Its the one you see in most of my videos.
M24 is a close second. M95 is only really good for killing pilots.

these tutorials helped me when i started playing bf2 for the first time. I recently purchased a new computer and now i can finnaly play on max settings, on my old computer i was lagging on normal settings. Because of maximum draw distance i can spot enemies from much further away now

After watching your videos i had ranked up in game, letting me unlock some kits, i chose the L95 first, then ranked up again, looking through the unlock-able weapons i was unable to find the L96A1 i then went to my Bf2 Stats page and the rifle was not in the unlock-able weapons area, any tips on how to get the rile would be helpful.(Love your vids)

This series helped me when I first started playing BF2 so thanks, but in reality this 'classic' way of sniping by camping and hiding arguably isnt the most effective imo. With UAV, spot spamming and knowing the usual hiding places a camping sniper is often a sitting duck!
If you can learn the art of dragshooting and quickscoping then pushing forward with the rest of the team and sniping in close quarters can be more beneficial to the team. As well as usually getting more kills! :D

Its not about kills. Its about K:D ratio.
I am always attempting to have a big 0 in the death slot. Therefore making my ratio infinite. At the end of the round, most snipers have a 1:1 ratio, mabey 2:1.
Near the end of my BF2 career (i don't play anymore) I was getting 10:1 on average (although my stats won't reflect this). Very few snipers on the front lines can even dream of that ratio.
A snipers most prized posession, in life and in game, is stealth. Just my $0.02

@ryandpahl do you still only play in the winter months or are you done forever? and BFBC2 is sick i love cross map sniping ticks some peeps off with it... makes me smile :) rambo knifing is some legit skill to have too.

If you like PR, then I recommend ArmA to you. PR has too many limiting factors created from the battlefield game itself.
ArmA is EVERYTHING PR is trying to be and a whole lot more.

@ryandpahl Aww... well I actually have ArmA 2, but even though my notebook is one of the better ones it can't really keep up with what ArmA 2 demands (performance-wise). I used to play Operation Flashpoint (the first one) very extensively back in the old days... :)
