lol, "passing the deal" is WHY theyre becoming the MIAMI Marlins, not a way to save their name...

Miami is puting out a couple hundred million dollars for the retractable roof stadium the Marlins have wanted to use for so long. The main restrictions put on the team: they become the Miami Marlins in 2011, and the franchise must lease the stadium and can't leave Miami for several decades (I think it is 35 years to be exact), unless they opt to pay Miami back 150%.
