However, the confidence is not unnecessary, it is good for an artist to feel confident about what he or she puts out. He is already confident in the sense that he puts out youtube vids, he risks his shit leaking. It is raw, and I agree not as good as he says. Furthermore, your being the best is of course an opinion. The logic you use to say that you are in fact the best is not sound logic or proof. You say that you are the best and want to take rapping seriously because you claim to be the “most consistently watched rapper” in the area. Look at Rebecca Black’s Friday. It has had over 122,000,000 views. Does that mean she is the best or even good? Of course not. Keep rapping, but tone it down a little!

You raise a good point in views determining success. I don't think my confidence is unnecessary, though. I hate rappers today, and what rap has become. Nobody has respect for the culture anymore, and that drives me crazy. We live in a world where anyone who listens to rap thinks they can be a rapper...
@quicktofly I don't know how to describe it, but what I'm doing now isn't what I want to do overall. I want to, as an artist, be original and push the boundaries of the genre. I can't make it happen yet, though, because I cannot fund such a thing. Right now I'm doing what I can to try and stand out. I feel that a lot of rappers in my area are stricly a gimmick, and I want to seperate myself from that. Maybe I could explain myself in an upcoming video. Thanks again, and may I ask who you are?
Do you know the definition of amateur? It is “a person who engages in a study, sport, or other activity for pleasure rather than for financial benefit or professional reasons.” What part of that does not describe you? You say other rappers have an abundance of unnecessary confidence, so do you!! I don’t understand it. I am not saying you are bad, all I am saying is you are not as good as you portray. Step down from your pedestal and end these delusions of grandeur.
