This movie is great. I would recommend also the "Bednaya Nastya" i think its the greatest movie of all times. All the actors are hot and the translation is "Poor Anastasia". I think it is on you tube.. great movie.

Agree about "Bednaya Nastya", it's fantastic and so addictive! And it has real historical figures like Emperor Nicholas I, and his son the future Alexander II, and Alexander's real life mistress Countess Olga Kalinovskaya. And all the Russian actors are so gorgeous.

thank you so much for uploading this wonderful (and I think vastly superior) version of Leo Tolstoy's classic story, mi lady. Mel Gibson was an uncredited producer on this movie. it should be released in Region 1 DVD, and as a Director's Cut (the original version is 140 minutes and has not been released to the public).
