I have to commend you on an excellent job; it seems as if on every car video on Youtube you've educated me on where the vehicles were manufactured as well as many of their components. Thanks! ^_^
My mom has a 2010 sentra SR and its an amazing car :) the only thing the breaks are kinda snestive (for me) i guess u gotta get a feel for them. all in all though great car to drive amazing leg room in both front and back and just a fun little sports car to drive :D
I am currently driving (do not own) an 08 Sentra with the 2.0 and all I can say is this car further reminds me why I hate imports. Thing has no balls, interior was designed by a toddler, everything feels sterile and cheap, brakes and steering are way too sensitive and its ugly to boot. Im sorry but thats my opinion. Give me straight-forward traditional American design anyday, I'll never own an import.
I love these little cars. I think they look like a mini maxima so I dont see why people think these cars are ugly. If I had to buy a 4 cylinder sport compact this would be it. The civic si is nice but who don't have one?
Hey, your video has good content, but I am not sure I totally agree with it... I guess that is why everyone has a channel and opinion right? Either way I like the content and the presentation. I picked up a few ideas from this video so thank you for posting. May I ask, how you go about determining what to make video content about? Are you looking for trending topics or are you just making content around what you think people should be consuming online? I am trying to figure out my process...
I had a sentra 2.0s and I liked it up until it was time for transmission repairs. I had the 6 speed manual and it cost $3,000 to fix because every component went out at once. Other than that no complaints
Drove one of those.. It was terrible.. WORST transmission/clutch ever put in a car.. Didn't engage until the last minute.. And didn't give you any driving feel... Stick with a civic si
@2004NissanSentra I drive a 2007 Spec, and I agree the styling isn't great. It does help to contribute to a sleeper status if you're going to modify it though. I think that they should have shaved off the roofline a bit and maybe lowered it some, because it just isn't sleek. It looks okay, but it looks very tall. And drives like it too.
@PantstofryPWNZ the front and rear is what really throws it off for me, the blocky front/rear along with the high roofline really makes the car look awkward, the previous gen looked a lot like a benz or bmw from the side and audi from the front plus i own an 04 1.8 S and love it but i test drove civics, corollas, and just about anything from that same year and the 04 sentra drove the best of all, i test drove an 07 2.0 and it was awful and felt very topsy-turvy
@benchod94 Nope incorrect. It shows forward and backward acceleration. Not lateral. Not really useful but makes for a fun trick to keeping passengers stuck in the seat attempting to read the sensor though.
Ah, I've been waiting for this one for a while! I used to really want this car, (now I want a Genesis Coupe... irony bonus?) and I still like it, being a current 2004 Sentra owner.
Just not too cool that it takes premium with these gas prices...
@benchod94 You don't know what trolling is then. Stop trying to sound like you're super intelligent. If you could read, you'd probably figure out that I said my sister bought one. But that's okay, stay in school and someday you'll figure it out.
@benchod94 I own one, I didn't buy it though. But you don't need to get into an internet pussyfight with me over it, just go around and swear at other people and use your big boy words. It's a shame I looked at this video again, having blocked you I never would have known you responded. But I know you'll respond again even though I won't be notified. In my opinion, save your words. I know my situation, I drive a 2007 Spec V, although technically I didn't BUY it myself. "dumbfuck"

OMG the guy knows how to drive stick lol, trust me he knows cuz 1: his dad owns a dealership 2: he just drove one in the camaro ss vid 3: he like me prolly lives in the city and a manual/stick is a pain in the ass after awhile. Especially cuz I had a stick and commuting from CT to NYC gives ur arm and left foot a serious workout :)
why do some of the newer cars tachometer and speedometer needles go to max reading then back down on start up, like this car and the camaro and others??
@Pioneers22014 Manufactures are adding a "greeting" to lesser cars nowadays. Just like how the Mazda 6 (which is a greeting I like). But it could also be for those of us who still let the ECU boot and the injectors prime (a way to use time while u wait).
@cacarca It'd be nice to get the 200 hp with an automatic. automatics are better than manuals. no questions. manuals are better on sporty cars; that's it.
@hehh543 don't know what you're talking about. maybe automatics are better for lazy ass people who don't care about shifting, or driving for that matter.
@hehh543 nope. manuals are better on all cars, deal with it. you have more control of your car than automatic, and you can shift faster than automatic.
@BALJIT147 No; manuals aren't more fuel efficient. In SOME cases, yes. but in the regular sentra, one with a manual gets 24 mpg city 31 mpg highway. compared to 27mpg city and 34 mpg highway. and nissan's have a 10 year 120,000 mile warranty on their cvt transmissions anyway. and SOMETIMES they're faster....
@ElectroGhandi the sentra isnt as good looking, but it has 3 more horsepower (197 for si and 200 for sentra)than the si and 41 more ft/lb of torque(139 for si, 180 for the sentra), which i believe contributes to faster acceleration.... the new 2012 civic will sure beat this thing... :)
@yosefwanger ikr.. ive noticied many nissans have the same beeping honda cars do when u insert the key... and the position of the stick stift in the sentra is in a simialar position to the civic... its the only thing ive seen... name some more XD
@benchod94 in a way yeah but not really, the 98-01 altima was just plain boring and frumpy, the 00-05 sentra looked more like a cross between a 3-series and lexus is of the same years and looked pretty good IMO
@2004NissanSentra Ehhh, I'm going to have to respectfully disagree, my old 04 would never be mistook for a lexus or BMW. It was a great little car, but it didn't look like that.
@PantstofryPWNZ i see bits and pieces of just about every automaker in the 02-06 version (in a good way), and no you're right you can't mistake it for benz, lexus, or bmw, heck not even a civic or crapolla for god's sake :D
@2004NissanSentra I agree that it's good looking and drives well, I had a 2004 1.8S for two years and it was great and reliable. The new bodystyle is awkward, but a new set of rims and a good lowering job helps it some. But still, it needs a chop shop haha
@aspiringdrummer17 ha! maybe, because ive left my car in gear parked on a moderately steep hill and it held. but yeah, you really should use the handbrake, its a lot more secure
My brother had a 2002 se-r spec v, but it was a lemon! went through 5 throttle body sensors, had to replace the computer, had to replace the engine, replaced the radiator, and other small things. Luckly he worked for at a nissan dealership and he had an extended warranty which covered most of his problems. He just thinks that his was a lemon due b/c he never had other people complain about the mass of problems w/ their sentras
Just before you hopped out you took off the emergency/parking brake. Is there another brake (apart from the pedal brake) with this car or were you living dangerously on this one? :)
i like this little car, i've driven a 2.0 sl but i want to drive one of these. the seats look more comfy than in the sl model too. i think this ser spec v look better than the 02-06 model it replaced but thats me.
@saabkyle04 don't get me wrong I love your vids. But you haven't done any highline cars in a while i.e. Mercedes, BMW, Audi and such. Now I just saw an Audi A7 at the New York Auto Show last week and it was stunning. A review on that would be beyond awesome. Know ur busy but just input from a loyal subscriber thanks! :-)
@saabkyle04 hey lad. i know your busy but when you have free time please do an aston martin DBS. there is one in foreign cars italia, i saw it when you reviewed the rapide and v8 vantage convertible. its my all time favourite car.
@Bflakes30 I agree .. I like seeing videos of new Mercedes-Benz, BMW or Audi cars .. Not these crappy Nissan, Jeep, Toyota, Chevrolet, and Ford crap .. How about some NEW German cars!
please please kyle i beg you to do a 95 camaro my dad want to buy it but he wants you to do a video about it please we really need your help kyle please pretty please?

@PantstofryPWNZ i see bits and pieces of just about every automaker in the 02-06 version (in a good way), and no you're right you can't mistake it for benz, lexus, or bmw, heck not even a civic or crapolla for god's sake :D
2004NissanSentra 8 months ago
@2004NissanSentra I agree that it's good looking and drives well, I had a 2004 1.8S for two years and it was great and reliable. The new bodystyle is awkward, but a new set of rims and a good lowering job helps it some. But still, it needs a chop shop haha

@PantstofryPWNZ totally agree

why would the emergency brake be down wouldnt it be needed since its a stick?
OTHGirlsForever 10 months ago
@OTHGirlsForever not if its parked in gear
whatthehallbetch 10 months ago
@whatthehallbetch Leaving it in gear doesn't actually stop it from moving you know
aspiringdrummer17 10 months ago
@aspiringdrummer17 true, but it helps. especially if its on a level surface like in the video
whatthehallbetch 10 months ago
@whatthehallbetch Not in my experience but maybe thats just my car :P
aspiringdrummer17 10 months ago
@aspiringdrummer17 ha! maybe, because ive left my car in gear parked on a moderately steep hill and it held. but yeah, you really should use the handbrake, its a lot more secure
whatthehallbetch 10 months ago
@OTHGirlsForever If its left in gear it should be okay.

@koobydotnet i believe it was habit from all of the automatic cars he reviews

B15 is better hands down! Anything older than that is good too, heck this gen almost makes the Versa sedan look good :(
2004NissanSentra 10 months ago
i like this little car, i've driven a 2.0 sl but i want to drive one of these. the seats look more comfy than in the sl model too. i think this ser spec v look better than the 02-06 model it replaced but thats me.
