  • saw him at NC renfair cyrus is amazing my little cousin who is 5 said when he is older he wants to play"the big bell truck"

  • @setchemati ah! i was just there Saturday!!!! isn't he the GREATEST?!?!?! <3

  • just saw im in Tx renfair it was good

  • EPIC

  • Just saw him today at the NY RenFair it was awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • technically its is set up like an organ because it does have a pedalboard

  • ill play some axel f on the man

  • why is he out of tune at tubular bells? i also think its pretty ironic that hes playing tubular bells on a carillon when its meant for its namesake.......stupid really, it does the music or the instrument no justice, the guy who plays it needs to learn his beats and where he needs his hands

  • I've had the honor of seeing Cast In Bronze live at the festival in Waxahachie Texas. The Carillon is a very beautiful instrument with a pure sound. As good as this video is, it does this instrument no justice. I would highly recommend seeing this lovely instrument live if at all possible. I go to the fair every year and I ALWAYS see all of his shows. I never tire of this lovely instrument.

  • Must be one of the new guys who's helping the Cast In Bronze founder with his mission. The voice and set-up is different.

  • @aniu15228 frank della penna has hired a few people, this is mister wylie (i think that's his first name) crawford and there is another young man, whom i saw in georgia, named jonathan lehrer.

  • cast in bronze FTW

  • loved it it hit NY Ren Fair this year a wonderful addition to the program

  • ahahahahahahahaha!!! at the very end hahaha!!!

"RIDE THE WORLDS BIGGEST ROCKING HO" !!

    hhhhhaaaaahhahahaha!

  • cool but why didn't you film the bells while he was playing at all?

  • he did...at 1:30 is the start of the concert...then the guy gets up on stage and plays the cairollon after he sits down...the rest of the music is recoreded but just not the cairllon bits that's live.

  • Does anyone have any Cast in Bronze CDs that they can let me hear

  • i went to the Florida Ren Fest (in Deerfield) about 4times this year ( i have friends who work there that i go see) and i saw "Cast in Bronze" at least 9times and now have two of the cds and i am hooked.

  • Very impressive.

  • Was he playing the Halloween theme?

  • lol ho

  • Nice instrument. But how would you wrap it as a present?

  • ooo you changed your opening.... I like the whole purple smoke and red letters thats pretty cool....

and I could agree.. LOL needs more cowbell

  • Nice music, interesting.

I think the text in the intro should be bolder to see it better. And the clip should be held longer, goes by too quick. Just a thought.

  • The player has one funkyass mask on. lol. Cool vid though.

  • Al, I like the new intro! Please make the text bolder though so those with visual problems can see! I like it! Nice Video!

  • There's one of these at the top of the tower at Stanford. Awesome.

  • Nice, but it could use more cowbell...

    I am an unoriginal person

  • the guy playing that thing was acting weird lol great video alfred

  • we have one of these at the chicago botanic gardens. It goes off every hour just to sound the time . once for one a clock and so fourth, I believe they have concerts with it once and awhile. Great video Al. Nice new intro... Also, like what your doing on ustream.

  • Great new Introduction alfred.

  • loved it,sounds really cool

  • what kind of camera is that???

  • Sanyo Xacti HD 1010

  • Who shouted "Freebird" at the end of the performance? Oh, wait, it was me...

  • @ThisisAdamB rofl nice xD

  • doesnt that make you special?

  • Yes. Yes it does.

  • nice new intro, and pretty cool video.. never seen anything like that with bells.. and funny last sign joke x]

  • I liked it, but it get's a little annoying after some time

  • I love your balls ehm... bells. ;-)

    Great Video, Alfred.

Is this one made with iMovie ´09?

  • Whoa that contraption was awsome! Alfred go buy one and out it in your backyard

  • Ya that thing is crazy big,

  • Awsome video.... is what i would say if could watch it but i cant. Why not? Because the quality is too high even without hd.

  • Fascinating, haven't heard a rendition of Tubular Bells for a long while so that as also a pleasant surprise. Love to see bands like Coldplay, Radiohead or Sigur Ros get their mitts on this thing and see what they could do.

  • Great video, that guy is Incredible.

    The ending was fantastic LOL

  • Love the new intro. CRAZY BELL SET-UP!! Holy crap!

  • cool! but the new intro is kinda unoriginal, i liked the old one better

  • love that new intro.

  • 20:38 made the video

  • Alfred, did I read the word "Koninklijk" at the top of that carillon at 01:23 ? Because if so, that's the Dutch word for "Royal". So this might actually be a Dutch musician group!

  • The World's Biggest Rockin' Ho eh?

What I would like to know is, is it set out like normal piano keys, I heard hims say there is white keys and black keys. But for instance if you played Piano for many years would you be able to get up and play a tune on this Carillon?

Great Video Alfred, Hope to see more of the Ren Fest sometime in 2012.

  • I think it would be possible to play the carillon with a piano keyboard then, yes.

  • What I mean is, are the keys set out like a piano.

  • @JoeLovetteMusic: Yeah, I think so.

  • Yes, the arrangement is like a large piano keyboard at your fists and feet.

  • Yes, it is laid out like a large piano with keys at your fists and feet.

  • Reminds me of something from animusic.

  • ShamWow! Wait until the neighbors see you and AdamB moving that instrument in to your place!

  • awesome Al 5[5

  • Geez, for a second there I thought Richard Belzer was in there...

  • I still would've brought a light saber...

  • was that a new intro? anyways, nice.

  • I preferred the old one, but I do like the new one. Its quite hard to read the text.

  • Great Vid 5/5

  • JarretSlater - YAY new video .. :)

  • That was incredible Alfred. I love listening to music that focus around bells and percussion. I guess I'm a drum person XD

  • nice one al
