its like SF4 but with a parring system and no focus attack, also there is no revenge gouge but you can have many levels of super bars depending on what super art you chose (super arts are the super combos of this game)

GGPO is a network library so basically what GGPO is, is that instead of a connection to their host or to your host over online, GGPO is like the middle man so you connect to them and GGPO mirrors your imputs onto their tv screen so its not laggy if your on a bad host GGPO mirrors your imputs to them instead of sending your imputs directly to them all within a fraction of a second so you get a lag free match basically, like if you were playing right next to them.

GGPO uses a few tricks to minimize the effect of latency in an online game. Basically the two games (yours and your opponent's) run in sync, and the last several frames of the gamestate are stored in memory. When the two gamestates desynchronise, the game on the other end re-simulates the desynchronised frames seamlessly in the background - It is a clever illusion of zero latency and allows you to pull off parry timings etc.

@rmnhn Don't worry. 3rd Strike is as Nowhere as hard any Guilty Gear. I could even say it's much easier. I'd say that Mortal Kombat and BlazBlue have higher learner curves. It's much more technical base but Super Combos require only 2 Flicks of the Analog Stick and a Press of a button. Combos are somewhat hard to chain but once you get down to it 3rd Strike is a deep and compeling game that takes skill but it's a fun game and if you play fighters regulary you should be good.
