Female circumcision is life threatening and 100x more dangerous because it is UNsanitary for women to be sewn up;us men get circumcised FOR sanitary reasons. The foreskin traps bacteria. It is such a severe danger to their health to the point that it is a health risk because it does not allow the body to function the way it needs to (i.e. having periods, urinating, ovulating, etc).
Real muslims doesnt do that, if it was written in the quran it would be another thing but it is not written about such things, so dont blame muslims for it, this is a traditional horrible thing, not a muslim thing.

Secondly, if you do a simple search about FGM you'll see that it is primarily an African practice (northern and central), taking place in 28 countries. Really has to be a policy of zero tolerance and proper education. Catch the cutters if they do operate in the UK. Watch over any girls who may be at risk. Have a gynacologist check up as suggested in film, and let the parents know that if the girls return to school mutilated its jail. As far as I am aware neither the Koran or the Bible advocate this, so proper religious and health education is needed.
