How is the sound quality of this thing compared to the Logitech Squeezebox, for example? Thanks!

Bought one for because of audio out and price $99 at Walmart. But looking for a second radio Vtech at Walmart for $135 battery operated and maybe the controls will be less navigating just to get 1 preset station like a regular radio. The sound is fantastic in audio out to powered speakers or home stereo

I bought one of these bad boys. Its pretty awesome.

My only gripe is that the backlight is bright as heck, and has no dimmer control.

The dimmer control is the top left button on your remote..

Thats not a dimmer, thats just on or off.

@AltimaNEO -- It's a dimmer, too. Each time you push the button the display gets brighter or dimmer and then it turns off. Nice radio overall, but I hear a crackling sound when I listen to Internet Radio. Does anyone else?

@rhetrix Hmm strange then. I must have an older model, as mine wont dim. Just shuts the backlight on or off.

No issues with internet radio audio quality here though.
