  • both of em are babies. lets go claude giroux!!

  • last time i checked crosby is the one with the stanley cup ring. If crosby comes back he is just going to get better

  • Love how the commentator even sides with crosby, saying how ovechkin comes from behind and grabs him, making it sound like a cheap shot, when really it wasnt

  • Crosby has talent. He has potential to be great. But this kid does not have the personality or the class to be recognized as one of the greats. He's honestly a pussy, and acts like a child.

  • Ovechkin fans just say that Sidney Crosby is a pussy and that he cries but when you look at the facts Sidney is way better. And the reason he has been out so long is not because he's a pussy but because he doesn't want permanent brain damage.

  • @goldensquirrel1337 When you compare the stats, the only thing Crosby's superior in is assists. In the playoffs, Ovechkin has the better stats (even out of the whole league). Ovechkin's a better goal scorer and playoff performer. Crosby's a better leader and playmaker. Although neither of them are good defensively and it's useless to attempt to compare them based on defensive play.

  • @ROBLOXovicarlson Ovechkin couldnt handle Crosbys jock strap

  • @goldensquirrel1337 Except for the in the playoffs, where Ovechkin has been the epitome of clutch play. If memory serves, Crosby has been in 6 elimination games in his career, and has been held completely scoreless in 4 of them.

  • you guys must have missed the one where Ovechkin cries when Sid gets his stanley cup ring

  • @SoftSailz no i did'nt ??

  • @SoftSailz Crosby carrer is over but you can still watch Ovechkin play :)

  • @wwfhasskillz Crosby is far from done. I'm watching Ovechkin, but he dosent seem like he's doing too much this year...more like NOvechkin. Even if Crosby is done, he still has a Stanley ring on his finger. Where's NOvechkins ring?

  • @SoftSailz i think everyone missed that one...

  • his not crying. you better change the tittle

  • alexandra overchicken couldnt even make a baby cry

  • and where exactly did he cry?

  • i dont see crying? Crosby rocks so shutup

  • Crosby is jealous cuz he is not the best hockey player.

    Ovechkin ALL THE WAY

  • @FrAnK7427 Ovekian is a jerk. Crosby is a good sport and well behaved while Ovekian should go to anger management.

  • @EVERYTHINGHOCKEYFAN 1. Learn how to write Ovechkin

2.Ovy's better than Crosby the faggot

    3.Fuck you

  • @FrAnK7427 thats why ovechkin sucks

  • Fick u all Crosby is the best

  • @jordan57756 agreed :)

  • its an emotional game, if someone cry's its not because were running away, it is because were mad the score is not closer

  • crosby is a baby

  • @GoPensGo377 wait is crosby playing at the moment right now? whats that? hes injured? what a surprise.

  • The refs suck and so does crosby what a bitch

  • GoPensGo377... Who's the biggest faker and crybaby in the hockey WORLD? Crosby

  • Whos the better hockey player? Crosby

  • @GoPensGo377 whos gonna be retired at age 25? Crosby

  • @ewilliams9 Atleast he could retire as a champion and a canadian hero, ovechkins career is going down the drain.

  • @GoPensGo377 this is true, i just had to throw that retired thing in out of the slight spite i have toward him, on a side note ovechkin is simply a joke now.

  • @Jraush19

    Ur just jealous

  • crosby would dummy him

  • yea he really looked like he was laughing at 0:23 when he looks scared shitless

  • HOW TOUGH IS CROSBY ? -10/10 OVI? 15/10 , but they are both pussys in my opinion

  • @brayden113, dude u can't be serious Crosby is no Gretzky, at the moment nobody is

  • how is he crying?? you ignorant idiots dont know shit

  • crosby is a fucking pussy

  • OMG OVECHKIN TOUCHED ME!! CRYMODE! FAGGOT

  • kay all u faggots know nothing......he wasnt even crying he was probably laughing because he couldnt understand what ovechkin was saying...... Crosby reminds me of gretzky

  • @xoBOSSox he's from Canada you stupid gypsy get your facts right

  • @xoBOSSox dude.....that doesnt even make sense

  • "What nationality are they?" "Oh, Ovechkin is from Russia and Crosby is from Dive-And-Whine-land"

  • @xoBOSSox dive and whine land has most of the best players ever to play in the NHL bitch

  • Quit yapping and do something you fuckin pussy. You're 13 year old girl antics have no place in this game.

  • Crosby is somewhat of a crybaby, but Ovechkin has no class at all, a fact that he has demonstrated beyond a doubt this season. Crosby has had more positive impact in the 8 games he played for his team than Ovechkin has had all season for his. (Well, he DID manage to get his coach fired...)

  • wheres the crying ?

  • @fastfingersneeded look at his face >.> either crying or he shit himself....

  • So fake he didn't even cry he was mouthing off to Ovi!

  • Crosby is THE best player in hockey. Ovi may be the more gifted goal scorer and better defensive player but Crosby brings the best out in in his teammates he makes them better. Also I didn't see any crying here.

  • @ND89TEN i disagree, im not even a caps fan, but ovechkin is bigger, stronger, and plays much harder than crosby...granted, ur right about crosby bring up his team, but when it comes to just playing the game, id take ovechkin any day. not saying that crosby is any less, but thts just wat i think..

  • @ND89TEN LOL Crosby sure isn't the best

  • THERE'S NO CRYING IN ICE HOCKEY!

  • @sk8trdudenoob theres also no ICE in hockey

  • @triplerdad True it can be played on ICE or PAVEMENT... sorry no offense but your comment did not make sense there is ICE in hockey... jock

  • Match penalty for crying

  • believe me ovi is just jealous

  • @LiveCrazyOrDie You keep telling yourself that.

  • @VeritasVip3r ok lets see, ovi dates blonde russian tennis players, he knocks out an ice guy, he taunts crosby from the bench, and also shows no hospitality or regret when he really hurts someone, emotionally or physically. Yet he is still not famous for doing that?! (gasps) oh thats right, because sid got famous for his talent not attitude. And ovi just wished he could be that good guy with remarkable talent without all the drama. Period

  • Ovi is good at hitting people who arent looking...in that regard his will is strong. As far as being consistant and winning playoff series...his will not so good.

  • i like crosby just as much as ovey, but ovey wud wreck his ass in a fight, and i didnt see him crying or look like he was whining or anything

  • i hate ovechkin he is horrible crosby is the real deal!

  • Ovechkin>Crosby

  • @juzu4meisahomo crosby is better than ovi, hockey wise. ovi is tougher

  • @DirtaaysouTH Two different style play buddy.

  • He is a prime example of us russians

  • lmfao only reason crosby tried to act tough was because a ref was right there..

  • Ovi was trying to get to the bench ffs

  • malkin is the only beast here ovechkin tryed checking him then he fell lol

  • i love how hes not crying and he has 11 points in 2 games

  • I'd take Crosby over Ovechkin any day.

  • Crosby reminds me of Justin Bieber...

  • @xxGoldxxdiggerxx96xx or justin bieber reminds you on crosby ?? crosby is old :D

  • @Production1992nr2 Year but you know... they both stay home with there mother for the rest of they lifes :D

  • @xxGoldxxdiggerxx96xx your right xD

  • @xxGoldxxdiggerxx96xx But crosby has talent...

  • @BeatlesCoverzzJGPR Not so sure about that

  • @xxGoldxxdiggerxx96xx okay even though i dont like crosby that much, i know he has talent. if you dont think hes good you should deffinetly get to know hockeyy more. both ovechkin and crosby are great players that should be given respect for what they do at least

  • @chamillionairebestg I know he is good, but you need to understand when you hate a player you don't agree that he is one of the best, so no i think he sucks, and he lives on cash and and women, first year he was awsome, but now will he run away if somebody wanna take a fight with him?

  • @xxGoldxxdiggerxx96xx crosby cant fight at all, i know hes a bit of a pussy

  • Crosby > Ovechkin. All day. Any day.

  • Ovechkins jealous of Crosby

  • @BeaglesRuleTheRoost what the fuck are you talking about? Crosby is just 7 points behing Ovechkin, and Ovi has played 18 more games

  • @BeaglesRuleTheRoost Let me rephrase that comment for you: Everybody knows Crosby can actually make the team around him better. Hell he plays with dupuis and kunitz and still racks up the points. I'm sorry but you can't compare a goal scorer that expects something from his linemates, to crosby who's got a stanley cup ring and incredible playoff ability.

  • @UrFavouriteBrownGuys did i say ovechkin was a better player?

  • @UrFavouriteBrownGuys the NHL did everything except hand him the Cup. Everyone knew he would win a Cup because the NHL needed him to win a cup. Go back and watch the series in 07 I believe against the Rangers. It's a joke. I'm fine with Crosby getting superstar treatment but not the whole team.

  • @UrFavouriteBrownGuys ...Yes, crosby is amazing on the ice, but he is still highly overrated. Go back a couple of years, and everyone was talking about ovechkin the same way you hear people talking about crosby now (except the fact that crosby has alot more hockey "growing" years ahead of him then ovechkin). Crosby wouldn't win a single game without marc andre fleury behind him. No one in hockey plays/scores alone.

I love watching great hockey no matter who is playing/scoring.

  • @EnocMatta Crosby is the active leader in PPG and is also 5th all time in that stat with 1.38 points a game. He didn't get that way with Fleury. If he did it would be to much of a weird coincidence that this highly anticipated 05 draft pick who played so well in the juniors would also play very well profesionally, dont ya think?

  • where is this "crying" ?

  • i'd cry too, russians are fucking scary

  • @HArryhood421 no theyre not. theyre pussies.

  • @HArryhood421 Your comment made me laugh, literally I actually just laughed at that shit!

  • man that last winter classic was a great game!

  • @dougransley man winning the stanley cup was great too. remember when you did that? ohh wait.

  • @Nate8724 good one smart guy

  • @Monsterenergy8771 I belive about no crying but no one can ever be the standard of Ovechkin.

  • @xshadowboyx1 before crosby's concussion, he was up 12 goals and 20 points on ovechkin

  • @Monsterenergy8771 Looks a lot to me like Crosby freaked out over something the announcers even said "isn't out of the ordinary".

  • Probably one of the stupidest rivalries in NHL History.

  • ovechkin in Arnold's voice, When OVI puts his arm around Cindys neck.....Hey CINDY come over later ive got the big stick to score with for you

  • ovechkins a BITCH hahaha

  • ovenchicken tries to respond with a kiss??????

  • Crosby took a shot ov lets call ov BABY OV AND I KNOW THE NAME IS BAD BECAUSE OVECHKIN SUCKS

  • (part 2) or Olympic hockey??? Do you know how many people watch Olympic hockey relative to NHL? It's like 8 to 1 in favour of the Olympics. So a goal when Bobby Orr flew in the 70's does not have the same 'impact', even if it was a beautiful goal. Maybe Canada's division was tougher...seeing as it had the 2 finalists. But Russia was ranked higher going into the Olympics. Look at that offense, come on!!! Canada only won because the russians choked!! Fuck, Ovechkin needed a Heimlic manouevre hahha

  • (cont. part 2) lines from the Red Army to play against Canada's amateurs to win gold 7 times? You don't have enough hockey knowledge to pick the right team so give me a break. Their team was excellent, but the great Canadians crushed them. And Team Canada 8 game series was the biggest political series ever, not a one game upset that many suspect the Soviets threw for money. Add all this up and the miracle on ice needs a huge asterisk beside it: * CANADA WAS NOT ALLOWED TO USE ITS BEST. Enjoy :)

  • @juzu4me (pt2) Again. You keep saying Crosby is more clutch than Ovechkin because he scored, quoting you here; "THE GOLDEN GOAL, MOST IMPORTANT IN HOCKEY HISTORY." Crosby's goal is not even CLOSE to the most important. To name a few game winners more important: Miracle on Ice GWG, Toronto's 1942 comeback GWG, Henderson's Summit Series GWG, Canada's 2002 GWG, Maurice Richard's 50th in 50 games in 1945. Bobby Orr's Cup Winning Goal where he "flew". There are MANY goals FAR more important.

  • (part 2) as fictitious as Rocky LOLOL. You are trying to pretend that the big Maple Leaf machine would have been easily beaten by college kids LOLOL and besides, the USA would have had other NHL players available to play on their team and that would have changed the chemistry as well. So grab your popcorn and coke and sit your arse down to watch the miracle on ice LOL what a nice story! Makes for nice dreaming for usa hockey fans that hate Canada though LOLOLOL y

  • @juzu4me When it comes down to it, there is not a single reason why the 2010 Olympic goal was more significant than the 2002 win, the 1980 miracle, or Toronto's 1942 comeback. When it comes down to it, the Miracle on Ice was one of the most shocking upsets in the history of sports, and the golden goal was the means to an end that a pretty large amount of people predicted. The Miracle transcended sports and symbolized the Cold War as a whole. The golden goal didn't go beyond hockey at all.

  • Just enjoy the game people. Everyone knows Ovi is overrated and If last year was any indication, Sid could miss most of the season and have more goals...on a less talented line...embarrassing really.

  • @ricculus Crosby's 41 games last year: 32-34-66. A PPG rate of 1.81. In 07-08, Ovechkin had a 52 game stretch of 42-46-88, for a PPG of 1.69. They're not that far off, and in all likelihood, there's little chance Crosby could've kept up at that pace.

  • (part 2) would have made that team if Canada had been allowed to use its best. We weren't allowed to. If we had, we would have come out in nuclear fashion and left the USA college kiddies on their asses and our talent would have destroyed you on the score sheet. To say that Canada wouldn't have beaten the USA in 1980 is to say that Canada would destroy the USA in war today. We both know this isn't true. btw you missed my point-if Green and Stamkos were 99's buddies in 06 they'd been on the team

  • USA college kids, most of whom still had squeaky voices. No movie would have been made, sorry! And Russia was ranked 1st going into the Olympics. Are you saying I'm lying? Quit begging and go find that ranking, because it exists. Geez, if Canada had been allowed to use its pros against the Soviet Union all those years then the Soviets would not have won all those olympic gold-how many have Russia won since Canada has been allowed to use its pros? The Miracle on Ice is nice but really a joke

  • Wheres your helmet bitch

  • Unblock me and I'll send you the site that proves others agree with me. My dad was the one who told me 1st-he watched it live and laughed his head off when the soviet coach pulled his goalie early in the game. Oh and your beloved clutch player ovie got benched late in the 3rd and in OT last night....and you think he is the best clutch player ever HAHAHAHAHA proves your total lack of hockey knowledge Pinochio. You are Pinochio and Forrest Gump combined LOLOLOL

  • @juzu4me Gretzky got benched by Robbie Ftorek in LA before. Shows how much that means. I posted links here, you can do it too. Just remove the ht tp and break up the ww w. Again, the Miracle team was one of the biggest upsets in the history of the sport. Few people expected them to even contend for a medal, let alone beat the best hockey team of the last decade. Alternately, tons of people expected the Canadians to win gold in Vancouver, and not a soul expected them to finish out of top 3.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg Guess you're too scared to see my proof..bok bok bok. Gretzky has won 4 cups by the time he got bored and got benched by a nobody....ovechkin is floating and not doing a damn thing but acting like a baboon when he scores. Bench the fucker, bench him often, trade the fucker to the Rangers. Team Canada, whoever it included, was the best team of the previous decade. Summit series, Canada Cups, Team Canada was the man. Don't tell me about 1979, that was against the NHL in New York

  • @juzu4me Ftorek played over 300 NHL games. Boudreau didn't even play 150. Gretzky was benched by a "nobody", Ovechkin was benched by someone even moreso. 1979 is a good example, since it was the WHOLE NHL. The best of all of the Canadians AND Americans combined. It's pretty safe to say that if you take away some of the better players on that team and replace them with guys that couldn't make the team, they wouldn't win.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg Disagree, Canada plays with more passion than any other country by far and they would have beat that Soviet team in '79. Those college kplayers would have cowered under the thought of getting crunched by the Canadians in 1980. Sometime in the mid 70s the Flyers bombed the Soviets by hammering them physically and that's what would have happened to the USA team in 1980. And again, Gretzky had won 4 cups already...Ovechkin shouldn't be getting benched. He needs a pin in his ass

  • @juzu4me So your argument is that the Canadian team would've won on the grounds that they're Canadian. Riiiight, where were they in 2006 with their passion? Also, again, show me the links that say Canada was an underdog. I bet you can't find a single reliable source that predicted the Canadians to not even get a medal. The Miracle team was pretty much the exact opposite. Again, major upsets are always more significant than expected outcomes.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg The Canadians would have changed the course of history in 1980 with their pros against college boys, both you and I know that. The 2006 Olympic team consisted of Gretzky's friends-passion has to include chemistry and that team had none. Do you think that when they pick team Canada they just take the players with the most points. Example: Stamkos and Mike Green were left off the 2010 team. This is hard for you to comprehend I realize, but Canada would have pulverized those (part 1)

  • @juzu4me Again. The fact that they were a team of amateur college players only makes it MORE significant, because that's what made it a miracle in the first place. You'll never see any movies made about #1 ranked teams because they're just not as exciting. Again, why do I have to find your list for you? It's YOUR arguing point, not mine, so YOU go find it. I'm not going to do your arguing for you just because YOU can't prove that you're not pulling random BS out of your ass.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg Let me put it to you in a way you might understand. Say if you stripped USA of all its nukes, advanced weapons etc. and you take 1000 American soldiers armed just with assault weapons and put them in a field with 1000 Canadian soldiers armed likewise. Canada has a damn good chance of having the last man standing, a damn good chance. Stripped of your power, Canada would have a chance. This is what happened in 1980-not one player on the Canadian Olympic team that year (part 1)

  • @juzu4me You don't seem to be getting that the main point is that it's the Miracle BECAUSE they were a team that should have been beaten. It was a significant victory BECAUSE they had no business going that far, BECAUSE it was a cinderella story of a run. Look at some of the great sports movies. Rudie, Rocky, The Longest Yard, Cinderella Man, Major League. All about underdogs. Find me a great sports movie about a team that was expected to win and did. Those aren't half as exciting.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg But hang on, there's something you aren't getting either dude. Um, when Rocky fought it was always against the BEST availalbe competition but in the Miracle on Ice the best competition wasn't allowed to compete. Canada's pros were ineligible to play and therefore that renders the miracle on ice nothing more than a nice story. Sure team USA pulled off something just short of a miracle but throw Gretzky, Trotier and the boys into the mix and you're getting silver. Still you did well

  • @juzu4me Again, Gretzky and Trottier were part of the NHL team that lost to the Soviets. Your only reasoning that says they'd do better if you TOOK AWAY good players from that team is "They're Canadians so they have more passion." Let me note that only 3 players on the team that lost fo the Soviets WEREN'T Canadian. The "passion", or lack thereof, of 3 players wouldn't make a difference of a 6-0 beatdown and a victory.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg I might have to put tht label of 'lack of hockey knowledge' back on you as Grezky wasn't on that team. In fact there was another league then and quite a few Canadian stars didn't even play in the NHL. And team NHL didn't have the Canadian maple leaf on their jersey, which would completely explain the lack of passion on that team. Had the likes of Barber, Lafleur, Bobby Clarke, Trottier, etc ect had a chance for Olympic gold wearing the C then your silly movie wouldn't have aired:)

  • @juzu4me The Challenge Cup roster had Barber (like you said), Clarke (like you said), Lafleur (like you said), Bossy, Esposito, Gillies, Robinson, Potvin, Trottier, Perreault, Dionne, Gainey, and Dryden, and still got throttled 6-0 in game 3. I get the feeling one more star wouldn't have saved them, even if it was Gretzky. He's not the difference of 6 goals in one game.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg They never had the Canadian uniform on. If you took today russia against the rest of the nhl all star team I bet you russia wins the series-you don't understand Canada's national pride when it comes to hockey. We were down 3-1 with 3 to go in the Soviet Union in '72 and we came back. YEAHHHH that kills you doesn't it! You honestly think that those players you listed would lose to usa college kiddies? LOL, we'd have throttled them and left them in tears. Miracle on ice is (cont)

  • @juzu4me You're insane if you think that Russia vs NHL All Stars would win. Again, they have ZERO defense. They couldn't even ice a full defensive corps out of the NHL. They had to use KHL players. And we're not talking about 1972, we're talking about 1980. I never SAID that the US team would've beaten team Canada, just that they achieved a massive upset by beating the Soviets, who had proven to be the best team that was assembled at that point. An unexpected result trumps an expected result.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg What do you mean they had no defense? They came into the game vs Canada with a 1.67 gaa and they played in the toughest division. An emotionally charged Canadian team (Bryzgalov told a russian reporter "they were like a zoo full of baboons released) taught them not to fuck with Canada. But you think Canadian passion is a non factor. Idiot. And once again, the russians used the KHL players because they played together in russia. Wasn't it the Soviet Union that used complete (cont.)

  • @juzu4me Beyond the Russians, Group C, although chock full of star power, lacked depth. Latvia had a complete pushover team. 6 of Slovakia's 13 forwards weren't even from the NHL, whereas the Czechs had 5 out of 13. With how top-heavy their offenses were, it was pretty easy to line match the Russians' only real solid defensive pairing with them. And we're not discussing the Summit Series vs. the Miracle, we're discussing 2010 versus it. The Summit Series is also MUCH more significant.

  • @juzu4me Who's "giving the knee" now?

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg lol that was funny. You are finally got me. I haven't even read your prior message yet so how can I concede? Just be patient and I will reply later. You think the Golden Goal kid is returning soon?

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg It's 'taking a knee' you flippant pissant. Anyway Crosby's career ppg is higher and he's won more fights and has a golden goal, a gold medal and a Stanley cup. Ovechkin is just getting benched and has a negative plus/minus this year. Ovie sucks. Miracle on Ice goal is not even remotely important, it was in a semi-final game and Canada couldn't use its best. Olympic hockey is more important-NHL goals don't have near the same impact. Tell me, what gets a higher TV rating-NHL (cont)

  • @juzu4me I never used the word impact, it was "significant". You keep saying that Russia was ranked higher, yet you can't find any proof, even though I've linked you to a couple of sites that say Canada was ridiculously stacked and would win gold. You say "look at that offense", I say the same thing for Canada, and look at that defence. Russia's defensive unit was far too weak to ever win it. And if the Olympics have more ratings, the 2002 and 1980 Olympics were BOTH still more significant.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg How is the 1980 Olympics more significant? Gee, college kiddies playing while Canada's dynamic pros are giggling away at home watching them beat a Soviet team that took a knee. I mean, the Mighty Ducks was a more believable movie. And '02 was great but no golden goal...the game was never in doubt, Canada had the game in the bag. Russia has never won a gold in the Olympics but they were ranked first before 2010. Go have another look...put your thinking bonnet on and you'll fine it.

  • @juzu4me Yeah, something that never happened is more "believable" than something that actually happened. You keep saying how Canada's team would've won, even though the Challenge Cup team pretty much was Team Canada and still got throttled. You say that national pride would've made them play better in the Olympics. But what, the Soviets wouldn't elevate their play? That argument goes both ways. Again, why would I do your arguing for you? If it's so easy to find, you would've found it by now.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg You're getting pretty desperate now with your silly mind games. The proof is there but it sounds as if your mommy did all your homework for you-find that list yourself, it exists. Russia was ranked number one. The challenge cup was played in NYC with players from other countries. We both know that Gretzky would have skated circles around college kiddies and they would have been pounded by some of the others. Obviously there's something fishy about that 1980 Soviet team

  • @juzu4me Again, if Russia was ranked #1, find me proof. The Challenge Cup was played with only 3 non-Canadians on the roster. Mark Howe and Wayne Gretzky were the only real stars in the WHA and not the Challenge Cup. Gretzky and Howe aren't the difference between a 6-0 blowout and a win. The Miracle team beat the Soviet team, something that the team that was basically what Team Canada would've been failed to do. That mommy comment was funny. Almost like how you're making me the same for you.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg If you can't find proof that Russia was ranked ahead of Canada going into the Olympics then you better get yourself a hockey tutor...and no I'm not the one for you. Team NHL selects would have won the 2nd game with Gretz in the lineup. Canada sure seemed to win in '87 when Gretz taught those Soviets a lesson. That was a fucking nice goal, Gretz to Lemieux and BOOOOOMMMMM. Canada would have bombed those college kiddies in 1980...admit it

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg Oh and by the way, I should check your facts more often Pinochio. I wonder if the NHL selects could have used Mark Messier or Blaine Stoughton, who had 56 goals that season as a member of the WHA's Hartford Whalers. Hmmmmmmmmm.

  • k i got the year wrong with Blaine Stoughton, it was the Olympic year when he got the 56 goals. Of course Canada was not allowed to use its pros though

  • @juzu4me (part 2) You're acting as if because it's not the Olympics they didn't even try. This was a team LOADED with Hall of Famers that gave it their all on every shift. To them, that was as close as they could get to the Olympics. It was the Olympics to them, and they failed. They didn't just lose game 3, they got completely pummeled. The American Miracle on Ice was still a ten times more significant than Crosby's 2010 goal.

  • @juzu4me (part 2) Also, Green was left off of the Canadian roster because his defense is quite average, at best. There were lots of better options that were complete, two way defensemen. Stamkos only had one year under his belt at the time, a 21 goal season. He hadn't yet proven anything over a full season. Sure, he was a goal scoring machine that year, but the team was mostly picked before it became very clear of his talent. The same reason Crosby was omitted in 06.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg btw kdfs....I do have to retract one thing. I've said that you lack hockey knowledge a few times but that's silly. You do have a lot of hockey knowledge and your passion for the game is one I haven't come across on youtube. But you're still wrong.

  • you never played it. How about that Russian team--ovechkin, malkin, semin, that idiot on New Jersey, Datsyuk....holy fuck the Russians were ranked number one and stacked!!!! So who was expected to win? I never ever heard even once that Canada were favourites, so quit lying and get out of your dream land Pinnochio. It was Crosby, who USA names the number one clutch player, who scored the GOLDEN GOAL FOR CANADA YEAAAHHHH

  • @juzu4me ww w.tsn.c a/blogs/scott_cullen/?id=310391 TSN Power Rankings before the Olympics, Canada as #1. sports.e spn.go.co m/olympics/winter/2010/news/story?id=4909817 ESPN Olympics predictions. I found the list. The Miracle on Ice was a massive upset that shocked the entire hockey world. Crosby's Inevitability on Ice was merely the means to an end that everyone saw coming. The most significant events are ALWAYS shocking upsets. Where did anyone say Canada would lose to the US?

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg Not only did they say the US could win, they took down the mighty Canadians easily just days before. The pressure on the mighty Canadians was so heavy that it was inevitable that they would lose. But Crosby, the clutch he is, brought an entire nation to its feet. Miracle on ice was silly, Canada would have crushed the Americans and won easily. You're missing the most important list that puts Russia the favourite going into the Olympics. Keep digging though. It exists

  • @juzu4me No. I had to find and show you the links that prove that Canada was heavily favored as the top team. You keep insisting that the Russians were heavily favored, so YOU find the link and prove it. The pressure on the Canadians was only so heavy because they stood in a position where they could've been part of a colossal choke. The fact that the Miracle team was amateurs only made it MORE significant, as it was that much more of a shocking upset.

  • @kdfsjljklgjfg It would have been more significant if Canada were using their professionals, because if USA had beaten Canada then that truly would have been a miracle. But...as I've said...it is commonly known as the Farce on Ice. And if you check google, there are sites that suggest Soviet Union took a knee. Many were seen driving beautiful cars after that game. As for the list that officially named Russia as the team to berat in 2010, you're too stupid to find it. See ya..wouldn't want 2 b ya

  • @juzu4me Lolwut? Now YOU are the liar. Show me the links, because that is some pretty obvious bullshit. "Too stupid to find it"? More like I'm not going to do your arguing for you just because you know you've been beaten. You're throwing out blatant lies because you're so obviously wrong. I had to find my own links, you have to find yours, otherwise you're lying. That's the same logic you applied to me, right? Show me the link or it's not true, you lazy POS.

  • using their E team. We won 2 of the last 4 Olympic tournaments, and so we would have most likely won more than half of the ones the Soviets won. As for the miracle on ice, I'm beginning to think you have aspergers-that was a goal midway through the 3rd period in a semi-final game scored by a team full of college kids. Canada would have destroyed this cute little miracle on ice team lol, boy and you fat americans made a move out of it LOLOLOL. Wow. Anyway refer to exibit A for more information :)

  • Crosby gave Ovechkin lip service? GROSS !

  • Quit bitching at each other, they're both unreal. Only difference is Crosby was a pussy his first 2 seasons and has been out for a year with a concussion and Ovechkin still hasn't won a Stanley cup or a golden medal. And Ovechkin hits more :P

  • @BlackGivesWay2Blue11 I have made no argument saying that Crosby sucks, or that one is better than the other. I just think it's beyond retarded to call Ovechkin a choker.

  • Comment removed

  • By the way son, please name ovechkin's most important goal LOLOLOLOL

  • The hockey world has just announced that ovechkin is really a Sedin--now there are triplets and they have one thing in common-the biggest chokers in professional hockey

  • ovechkin would have fucked crosby up if he wanted to.

  • The Canadian haters are everywhere these days. It's so lonely at the top :)

  • Crosby is a crybaby and I hate him. He is arrogant too. I am a wings fan, but even though I don't like him there's no denying he is a phenom

  • There shouldn't even be a debate about this, Crosby is BY FAR the best player in the league, the only player to compete would be Datsyuk. Yes, I am a Pens fan, but Crosby is the best player the NHL has had for years, and is a main reason for its revival. Ovechkin had a bad season last season for his standards, while Crosby was on track for his greatest season so far, until he was struck by injury. You may think he's a bitch or whatever, but his talent and skill is undeniable.

  • wheres the crying?

  • Ovi is stupid

  • Crosby will always be better than Ovi. You will NEVER see Ovechkin string together a 25 game point streak NEVER! You will NEVER see him hoist the Stanley Cup NEVER! because he has now faded off since his debut into the NHL. Ovechkin WAS a good player, so all you CRYBABIES who constantly nag about Crosby can shut the fuck up and move on.

  • @001MeTaBoLiC100 and you will never see ovie cry

  • @9091Hockey Too late he already cried at the world juniors when he lost to Canada in the Gold medal game. Nice try.

  • @001MeTaBoLiC100 Russians dont cry

  • @9091Hockey so then he's not Russian.
