  • Great work. but you re-topo right? That topoligy must be a mess!

  • @Stinnie89 Normally I would if I want to take the concept any further. This one didn't go much further than whats on the video...

  • U spent all that time sculpting a goat that looks a bit like a fish? Lol im kidding..It's nice. Talent.

  • look like a retarded duck

  • very nice!

  • is this free? can some one send me a link please xD awesoom man fav,sub and thumbs

  • It looks like an alien invedah!

  • what are u using waht scultping thing

  • ZBrush

  • @PsychoDesigns I love your work and I am interested in having a piece made on z brush from a picture I have. This would be work for hire and I could set up payment arrangements through paypal or check. If you are interested in making this piece for me email me at Thomas83710@msn.com

  • very nice! a few questions i've been working with blender for a long time now i'm getting pretty good with it is it hard to go from blender to zbrush? and is it worth it? also do u plan out ur models or just like half wing it?

  • Thanks!

ZB doesnt really replace Blender [or Maya in my case] They work together. Models eventually make it back to Blender/Maya/Max after modeling and/or texturing, and yes, its worth it.

It depends, this one was a sketch. I have a very vague idea what I wanted it to look like and just played with the shapes. But in my other videos [like the Fat City Worker] I have a pretty strong idea what I wanted him to look like.

  • cool thnx :D i might get z brush now :P

  • Very cool sculpt!

  • nice sculpt dude n awsome desighn! i just got zbrush n iv made a few models but theres something i dont get, i male a sculpt, save it then close down zbrush 4 watever reason, then when i load it up again i can no longer manipulate it, can someone tell me how cos it kinda sucks havin to do it all in one go!

  • Thanks. to save the model you need to save the tool as .ztl and not the document. when you want to save go under tools [usually on the top right corner] and hit save as... and use the load tool to load previously saved tools [aka models]..

    hope that helps

  • thanks dude, thats a huge help! il upload sum of my work at some point

  • I have a request can you make the alien fron the alen moves using this tool because I know you'll be able to do it then try the predator and finally predalien.

Im sorry If I'm asking to much ok but I know you'll be able to do it so please can you try. Thank you

  • @StevoE26

that used to happen to me as well. you need to go into edit mode again. u have different modes in zbrush. my advice is to follow the beginners tutorials and believe me it will make ure scuplting process more effective !

i have not made any 3d models for a while now, i do miss doing it sometimes.

  • Great job man, from the wrinkles to the muscle and overall shape makes it look very dynamic.

  • Oh my god... You are so freakin great. The music is awesome too!

You should show me how to use z-brush.. god it looks like fun :-0

  • Sure! though I gotta warn you.. its highly addictive.. they should put that as a warning on the box or something

  • AWESOME! I have no problem with addictions

    >:)

You still in University? Aren't you done by now???

You sure I can learn zbrush? Or should I say... are you sure you want me to learn? XD What if I make hello kitties LOL

Well not really... I'd like to try modelling some of my drawing in 3D... that would be freakin amazing 8-D

  • lol Ya.. I'm still at school.. I got a year of electives left.. I took almost every cart class there is :|. next year I'll be doing sculpting [real sculpting.. not digital], drawing and a couple of 3D rapid prototyping class [which will be awesome!]

Last year I gave a couple of Zbrush tutorials with DMSA.. and a couple of other 3D tutorials during Alison's and Santo's classes.. I think I'll do the Zbrush ones again this year.. No hello kitties allowed though.. you'll be scanned at the door:|

  • hahaha! You crack me up XD

wow you've been busy! I would have liked to assist teachers like that... but I'm more of a photoshop person. I can teach almost anything in that program (almost).

But I dont know zbrush... I want to learn to use it T_T'

  • Buy some introduction to zbrush book or video. Or just simply read the manual...

  • Beautiful design sculpt, man! I should use masks more often. You use it really effectively.

  • ya, I keep forgetting to use them often. this is one of the rare time I remember to use them. Thanks for the kind comment :)

  • Amazing, I hope I get that good at sculpting some day, nice work :D

  • oh lol, I'm still working on my sculpting. Its not where I want it.

  • good work

  • thank you

  • This is a great video! I have always had problems getting a perfectly nice ball for an eye on my models to draw the eye lids on top of. I saw that you used the pull circle alpha to put that ball in there that will help me out SOO MUCH! If you know of any more tips for eyes or wrinkles let me know.

  • Thanks, glad you found it useful. A better way to create the eyeballs is appending a poly sphere as a subtool .. move it into place then mirror it using Subtool Master.. its really easy and looks better than sculpted eyeballs.. I used it for my latest video for the eyes and teeth
