  • i have done this when i was 12 (last year) there is no scarring on two of the areas but on one area, the surgeon missed some so i am pissed

  • @marysparkles121 you have done it when you were 12? how was it? is it painless or what?

  • hey the one closes to her eye. thts where mine was EXACTLY. bt the dr. forgot some lil specs! HELP ME.

  • is 16 year old girl like me will be accepted to this surgery? i mean underage isn't it?

  • @RHENEEROSECUTE you need to ask your parents. i have done below 18 but i would have to discuss this with your parents present.

    best,

    sml

  • my mole i sitting right on the same part of my lip too, im getting it removed on my bday

  • i dont have your type of flesh-tone mole but a mole that is darker than my natural skin colour.

do you know if there is a difference?

  • i would like to avoid giving advice on here. i think you should ask a dermatologist regarding the differences between moles just to be fair.

    best wishes,

    sml

  • wow that's a pretty good doctor. i have like 3 moles in my face and it causing me irritation and low confident. before i dont really bother of having mole but now that im older im getting annoyed everytime i see my face in the mirror.

  • why was the scar so long? they only took off a small mole and there was about a one inch mole...

  • 2 reasons:

    1. the scar needs to be 3 x the length of the mole so that you do not get a puckered deformity, which your eye would see.

    2. making the incision shorter in the fold would be more obvious because your eye would see the start and stop points along the line. that is following a principle in facial reconstructive surgery known as the subunit principle (not exactly but a modification of that idea).

  • *PATIENTS BEWARE* Dr. Samuel Lam is not entirely honest and using few of his more successful cases to misrepresent himself. He is a phenomenal publicist and is extremely convincing, but don't be fooled. Its one thing to use youtube for entertainment, but another for a medical professional to exaggerate his abilities and knowledge to millions of viewers. If a plastic surgeon makes himself sound too good to be true, he often is. Don't let yourself get hurt.

  • Why didn't you show if there were any scars?

Please make a new video with, before n after

  • she does not live in dallas. will do upon her return. thanks.

  • it looks horrible.

  • yes, that is the reality the first week or so.

  • I would love to see after pictures!? I have a mole in the same area as her lip. I am looking to get this done? but I heard of a natural way where the mold falls off in a few days? Please let me know ur opinions. Thanx greatly appreciate it Dallas

  • looks painful...

  • not when i do it! it really isn't.

  • Good video.

As this was done via plastic surgery, will this result in very little scarring?

  • it should. however, i always say that a good mole removal is 50% great technique and 50% after care involving laser to reduce redness and scarring, 5-FU injections to safely reduce any skin thickening, and dermabrasion to smooth out the edges.

  • Do most dermatologists follow up with after care for free? I'm going to get a mole removed soon, and my plastic surgeon hasn't said anything about that yet.

  • i have no idea. i do.
