Update to 1/100 00 Gundam Review

if you use clear polycaps (F) on the 00 gn drives, the 0 raiser will no longer drop to the sides. I got mine from my arios designer colour version.

well if bandi had of put the waist rotation in then you wouldn't be getting all the credit for it lol so it worked out for the best bud. great review an super duper great mod to an already cool gundam. when i saw it i was like damn how did he do that but when you took it apart i knew exactly that is cool how you done it though great man i give you 3 stas bro.

hey by any chance did u buy them seperately? if u didnt can u tell me if the reagular 00 gundam by istself with out the 0 raiser has the connecter piece for the the 2 gnswords?

Yeah the regular 00 Gundam comes with the connector for the swords.

Cool mod! Pretty ingenious idea, really. I don't know that I'd have the tools or courage to do this kind of thing, though. If, or I should say, when Bandai makes a MG version, I imagine they'll probably implement something like this into the kit. I think the Gundam Mk.II 2.0 AEUG has the same problem with a lack of waist rotation. The Titans version solved this problem, but I wonder if there isn't a way to mod the AEUG's waist so it can rotate...

waist joint aside, what's important is fixing that drooping GN shoulder drive...did you see how yours just sorta fell down? i know prime's one didnt, (i havent completed mine, so i dont know), but i'm looking at the assembly, and i'm still trying to figure it out..metal wires? i dislike the idea of glue..that just ruins the bloody thing imo.

I actually intend on using super glue to fix it. Coating the ball and socket in glue and letting them dry seperately will tighten up pretty much any joint. I've never had any problem with this method b4...

Actually most people don't realize this cause it's kinda hard to notice on the box or just from looking at it, but those back grey parts on the 00's back that hold up the GN Drives are supposed to be raised up when you put the "wings" of the 0-Raiser on the drives.

I've ordered some clear ball joints and some clear polycaps from HLJ. They're both out of stock, so I may or may not get them in a timely manner... but if they don't come thru, I may can improvise something else...

geez that was pretty lazy of bandai, I mean with or without the O-Riser all they needed was a really solid peg and poly cap in the waist and that would've done it,right?

I mean brass didn't add any more extra weight to the thing compared to plastic?
