  • I'd also like to point out that the holier than though catholic big wigs covered up sexual abuse within their ranks for decades...DECADES! Transferring Father Pedophile from parish to parish in the hope he wouldn't do it again. I respect Anne Rice for having the courage to speak out, knowing there would be backlash. She a better Christian than most

  • First of all, let me just say that I am straight; spiritual / not religious. I believe in a higher power, but religion is man made; scriptures were written by men. People pick and choose what passages fit their personal beliefs. In regards to homosexuality: there is an on going debate between gay being a choice or they being born that way. How can "God" hold someone accountable for something they have no control over? Gays commit suicide over all the bullying. Is that what Christians want?

  • I have always loved this woman and her beliefs and knowledge that she translated into her wonderful books. This has just added to my respect another 10-fold. Anne Rice is just amazing. Another of the few voices of reason in the midst of a country of superstition and bigotry.

  • I'm glad Anne Rice chose her son over religion. That makes her a good mom.

  • As a fellow Catholic, I respect Anne Rice and she inspires most of what I write. She is amazing woman and I would love to meet her one day. :) God Bless You Anne Rice! <3

  • i really believe Ann wants the church to compromise there beliefs and standards so that people can feel more comfortable in their sins....God Bless the people who continue to speak out against sin and stand up for what is right...Judgement is coming to America soon and it's time to repent...whether Homosexual or not...Judgement is at the door...REPENT!!!!!

  • @disruptcomfortzones dear god where is your basis.

  • @disruptcomfortzones So, where is her rebuttal? No Rebuttal? How journalistic of you Lemon!

So she read the scripture for 12 years and can't connect back to Christ?

So where is the rebuttal from a Theologian?

Jesus clung as a RAbbi to the Bible that he knew existed for 10,000 years.

  • @disruptcomfortzones No, that's not the issue. And you people MIGHT have a leg to stand on when it comes to homosexuality if you put half as much energy into fighting the eating of shellfish, working on the Sabbath and cursing your parents, COMBINED! And what adultery? Yeah, I'm sure you care about it, but people like you don't mention that NEARLY as much as homosexuality. It's because you're using religion as an excuse to hate people who are different than you, it's as simple as that.

  • John 15:19 (Amplified Bible)

If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world [no longer one with it], but I have chosen (selected) you out of the world, the world hates (detests) you. The world Loves her, so what does that say?????????

  • John 15:19 (Amplified Bible)

19If you belonged to the world, the world would treat you with affection and would love you as its own. But because you are not of the world [no longer one with it], but I have chosen (selected) you out of the world, the world hates (detests) you.

  • My respect for Anne Rice after hearing this interview has just gone way up. It takes a lot to step back and say the these things. Unlike the interviewer says here that she is no longer a Christian, what she is saying is not that at all. She is a Christian because she follows Christ and His teachings, however, she is no longer a part of any organized Church.

Her statements about love & Christ are something I fear people have forgotten and as a Christian member of the GLBT community I applaud her.

  • oh sweet sweet jesus love me some jesus gotta get me some jesus

  • 1:10 YES thank you Anne. it had to be voiced. i love you

  • thank goodness! I'm so glad she finnaly realized the truth.

  • where are you?

  • I love Anne Rice for this.

  • Anne - Thank you so much for being out with your discovery. Love is the True Message that organized religion has forgotten.

Christ's message is the reason his story is still revered. We, each of us, can do anything when we keep love in our hearts.

  • Anne - Thank you so much for being out with your discovery. Love is the Message.

  • To leave Christianity or the Church is not to leave Christ and his message . But to leave the church is to leave an evil of epic proportions. Religion is the poster child for every corrupt, foul, separating ,war promoting, disgusting vise inducing, unloving ,fear based thought, that has had the unfortunate luck to grace the human soul for thousands of years. Religion= Evil Church = Evil

  • I support Anne completely in this. She is tired of all the prejudice and hatred. I myself haven't belonged to an organized religion for two years now and I can see where she is coming from. But I can't help but wonder what this means for her writing.

  • I say, as a pagan, that this woman is the kind of christian I respect.... Not hateful, not intolerant, but loving as her religion dictates.... I believe the Jesus was merely a great man... Very wise, very kind... She wishes to emulate this and show love and mercy to all she can... She is the Christian equivalent of a Wiccan... Blessed be Anne Rice...

Much love, Your Lestat addicted reader

  • @Sasukelegend5 "I believe the Jesus was merely a great man... Very wise, very kind" I just don't see how people can say this about Jesus. He compels a choice. He was telling the truth when he said he was God, or he was a liar, or he was a dangerous radical, or crazy. To say he was just a "nice guy" isn't an option Jesus leaves us with.

  • She wont get ANY backlash from me.Anne is RIGHT.The so called christianity of today is far far from what Jesus himself wanted.Wake up people.I am so glad she has made this decision though I do wish Lestat had another book in him.Better yet, what happened to Aslar and Morrigan! Now THERE is the story Anne.Continue the story of the Nephillim-hehe.

  • Those who are going to follow Christ must leave the manmade churches, as they have very little to dowith His teachings. She will be persecuted, she'll lose money, lose many of her fans, will be slandered by the manmade church, as Christ himself said it would happen. Hopefully she'll stay strong.

  • HAIL SATAN!

  • She has not quit being a Christian she has simply chosen to follow the teaching of Christ without being told by others what to believe. I say welcome back to the true Christianity a singular relationship with God and yourself. Organized religion is just that, religion organized by man to understand God. Unfortunately the message of love and forgiveness was lost by man putting his own faults and hates into the mouth of God. Christ never asked his followers to be hateful, but simply to love.

  • @Firefly2334 no. to believe. john 3:16. stay away from the NIV. see forerunner777, doctrines of devils and the new age agenda. peace.

  • @Firefly2334 "She has not quit being a Christian she has simply chosen to follow the teaching of Christ without being told by others what to believe"

Jesus lives on today in his mystical body, the church which he founded. "Remain in me, as I remain in you..." "unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink his blood, you have no life in you." How can you want to follow Jesus but not want to be around his body?

  • good for her, now maybe she can get back to the vampire chronicles.

  • @waterangel251983 I don't think she's going to write another book to add onto The Vampire Chronicles. She only wrote those books because she was an athiest/agnostic and described her process of writing those novels as "dark", "distant", and "alone". I too wish she'd give us another book but she is keeping her word.

  • @Dank951 She actually said she was done with the Vampire Chronicles. She said that she has no more stories for Lestat, Louis, or any of them. She wrote them for so many years and said what she wanted to say.

  • @SweetestInsanity1 HEY! She changed her mind about organized religion several times in her life- why not change her mind about the Vampire Chronicles!?

  • @crazykenna *Shrug* I wouldn't complain if she did add more books to the Vampire Chronicles, but I highly doubt she will. Here's some news that I'm excited about: there are rumors that the Vampire Chronicles franchise is being revived with a "Vampire Lestat" movie. Let's cross our fingers and hope they don't screw it up like they did "Queen of the Damned"!

  • Amen- Christ is personal and outside of time and place- this is the mystery of faith. The Church is not one denomination or doctrine or dogma itself. It is a universal conscience to find the Way the Truth and the Life in actuality and within personal terms of belief, of personal terms of acceptance - the Holy Spirit- It is not a current ecclesiastical interpretation by Current Canonical trends. With this, sex is viewed in different levels in secular and religious life. Be who you really are

  • @acent2112 Anne Rice is just expressing her and many others feelings about current institution of congregation and policy that affect and shape the faithful.

Its more than the Catholic Contemporary Opinion that's for sure. The Love your Neighbor as you Love yourself and other beautiful reasons to see through the false and haughty political self righteous obstacles parading as more sanctified and holy make me feel drawn more to where she is appearing to be coming from. She is looking for Truth*

  • @acent2112 "LORD JESUS CHRIST SON OF GOD HAVE MERCY ON ME A SINNER is known as the Jesus Prayer which is the basic early Christian prayer known to Orthodox Christians - as the first prayer, the primary prayer.

  • I feel the same way as Anne Rice. I truly love Christ, think we should use him as our example. Jesus two commands to us were worship the Lord, your God with all your heart, mind and soul and love your neighbor as yourself. Love was Jesus's message, to love each other sinner and non sinner, gay and straight.

  • Good for her, I have much respect for her.

  • The Romans adopted a Jewish superhero. The Romans love Jewish people? That's the whole truth? Wait a tick!

  • Comment removed

  • She's right. Everyone else shut the fuck up.

  • This is great. It's just too bad that she just can't go the whole way and drop all of the unsubstantiated metaphysical trappings of Christianity. Not a Christian, but committed to Christ? That could mean anything...

  • there are intelligent believers but there is no intelligent rationale for faith. sadly intelligent people still commit errors of judgement. Isaac newton for instance spent much of his later years with alchemy. religious faith requires the acceptance of a profoundly absurd set of premises without a shred of evidence. I dont respect your beliefs because they are ignorant, not to mention dangerous.

  • @Freenetnow you say it is a matter of the heart and I agree which is why I said christianity necessitates turning off your brain.

christianity offers an abundance of seductive, facile propositions such as: the universe was created with you in mind, you are the pinnacle of creation, god has a special destiny for you, he is watching over you and answering prayers, and you will spend eternity in heaven with your departed loved ones and god. needless to say there is zero evidence for any of it.

  • @Freenetnow i wont deny that religion has the power to change lives or save lives. any belief potentially has that power. that does not in any way make the belief true. for instance lets say I believe that cigarettes are made with the venom of the black mamba snake. therefore i dont smoke. that is undeniably a life changing, potentially life saving belief that is false. Your logic gives no convincing reason for gods existance.

  • @Freenetnow are you now against gay rights, stem cell research , women priests, contraception, and voting pro choice as anne suggests most christians are (and all catholics are supposed to be)? and what made you believe in god?

  • @Freenetnow christianity is the easiest thing in the world. just turn off your brain and do whatever youre told.

  • @mittROMNEY666 Have you been a Christian? Just asking. Turning off your brain is what you do in Jim Jones-esque cult. That is NOT what Christianity is. It's the exact opposite. In Christianity, an open mindset is key to understanding and discovering more about Christ and the Bible.

  • .anne did the right thing..why?

FACT- Christianity has been killing in the name of god since 2 A.D.

FACT- christans are responsible for over 150 million deaths

FACT- Christianity is a roman fairy tale story.

FACT- rapture is not even in the holy bible

FACT- the holy bible was written by secret societies.

FACT- king James was in 3 secret societies

FACT- there are 1085 words mis-translated in the bible

FACT- THE HOLY BIBLE HAS SCRIPTURES AFTER THE TALMUD

    FACT- christans are brainwashed

  • Comment removed

  • @DOCSAFETUBE @DOCSAFETUBE Where do you get this evidence? are you a Bible scholar? an expert on christianity? or have you been brainwashed yourself by another source?

  • @Lilly5739 it's a fact Lilly..Ive been awake of what's been going on for the last 25 yrs!! christans have been brainwashed big time..and what is sad..they are to afraid to research the truth! we got our major proof on researchers , historians , scientist , and the city of Rome where it all started!! christans are not just called christans..but Zionist christans..ever hear of the moonies ...research it!!

    doc

  • @DOCSAFETUBE I have researched Christianity extensively...that's why I believe it! I don't believe in blindly following something.

  • @Lilly5739 believing and knowing is way 2 different thing's !! you believe..I know!

and the truth is..the elite has you inside the bubble!

  • @DOCSAFETUBE How do you KNOW that the Romans wrote the Bible? How do you KNOW there is no God?

  • @Lilly5739 lol..im not saying there is no god gurl...there is a god..but we all don't know him or her!! we have been lied to for oh so long! im going to pass some info too you..give me like an hour..i got to run somewhere first..then ill send info to you..make sure you look on both sides of the story..and figure it out..it will come to you .....trust me it will religion is a very hard and deep subject..so you need to research carefully !!

  • @Lilly5739 my opinion , then if you have researched..then it must have been in the wrong places..religion is the main point to what is happening ...my advice..if you truly want to wake up , get all the fact's from both sides of the story...write it down and see who has the most proof..your going to have to research all the way back to LATE B.C. to 1A.D. and plan a trip to Rome!! see all the fact's there for yourself!

    doc

  • so she is quitting because of some heretics not because of sound bible based facts. she could not have been a christian in the first place if y ou are going to let some catholics tell you something that you know not to be true. she cannot be this stupid

  • VERY GOOD ANNE. I TOO LEFT THE HATE OF CHRISTIANS. I CHOOSE LOVE AND NOT HATE. I WILL SEE GOD AGN AND CANT WAIT TO RUB IT IN THESE SO CALLED CHRISTIANS . FEAR ISNT A CONCEPT IN MY LIFE.

  • Ma'am u were NEVER a "christian" u were a religious person, blind to this day in ur sins! John3:3 Jesus.. I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he CANNOT see the kingdom of God. John 3: 5 Jesus... I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he CANNOT enter into the kingdom of God. Therefore it makes no difference wheather u leave ur religion or not, u r lost in ur sins u & ur son need to REPENT & be BORN again in order to ENTER HEAVEN...you still have time to repent

  • It's sad that Anne Rice is choosing to quit Christianity so publically. She must have known that was bound to cause controversy, and a lot of it just distracting for all the wrong reasons.

I can't say I agree with her reasons for leaving, but they are her own reasons I guess, so she is entitled to them.

I dunno: I get the feeling that there is more going on here than just a fiction writer "quitting" her religion.....

  • @VideoQuestEx what people need to understand is that she was catholic not christian they are not the same thing despite what people think. catholicsm was not intened to be a religion. the catholic church is depraved so how can you want to be a a spiritual man if you follow a faith as depraved as catholiscm. also christians do not persecute gays.

  • Living in God's law (what HE dictated, not man's logic) is what is expected of us. It's only the boundaries for our lives. Christ's position was as the blood contract for man to rid the problem of sin (not just legal-like contract of Abraham/Moses). That's his position as the redeemer of God's people...made available for the whole world...and the consideration (smething of value) on our end is to accept His gift.

  • Ppl should understand that without God, and the prophecies, and messages from God, Jesus wouldn't be considered any messiah. Then to say Jesus exists outside of Judaism (obviously now Christianity) would be crazy. These ideas that Buddha, or new age beliefs are possible. These go against the very fabric of the relationship God established and made known. These exist only outside the monotheistic God of Abraham..and were always condemned by God, AND Christ for those that forget Christ is Jew

  • So this is the banner CNN puts up! She isn't leaving Christianity; she is leaving the church. She is very confused, to say the least (strange since she actually had time to write a book on the subject). I think it would be better for her to read the Bible, understanding why Christ was needed. Then, she wouldn't be foolish to say Jesus never mentioned certain things. It's almost as if she's dismissed God, and replaced God with Jesus (ignoring the whole Trinity relationship).

  • @danielharmonizer Uh, which version of the bible would you have her read? There are dozens, you realize.

  • @CIndigo87 Many of the Bibles out there are okay, but I would think KJV, NIV, or a few others are just fine. They don't tend to radically change the text to incorporate foreign ideas. A few of the newer ones do that, and they totally change the message. The Septuagint is also an okay version...though I can't read it.

  • the woman is an author and knows very well how to word a statement to draw attention to it. you can't quit Christianity and not quit Christ. her decision has nothing to with God, but with politics.and her political viewed don't line up with ours, so she separated herself from "the church" to keep her fan base happy. but if you practice this you practice this completely. NO she was never a true Christian, but at the same time, she needs to really tell the truth about why she made that decision

  • @Freenetnow

    Name them. Direct quotes only.

  • She is so great!;>

  • How did she cope after lose her faith, then come back to it, then lose it again...it just seems like she's a little girl again....actual KNOWLEDGE doesn't seem much to matter...the "JESUS" bios left alot to be desired, and if, indeed, AR went through this spiritual NON-gnosis simply for a transformation of a character to sell books as part of a grand scheme, then BRAVO....

  • Leaving Christianity but still remaining a Christ follower? Yea, I can relate. I want to be human but I'm going stop being a part of this Humanity thing, too messy....

  • Anne Rice has just sinned away her day of grace.

  • Well, I don't understand how come Anne canot see that Christianity, Judaism and Islam are the real problem?

Yes, their "holy" books are corrupted. Yes, these books are homophobic and cruel. They represent the stone-age mentality of some tribes.

Currently, all three "religions of the book" are following the so-called abrahamic ethics. Which was always far worse than the ethics of the Ancient Greece!

The Ancient Greeks were not homophobic (far from that!). "Be good to strangers!"-they said

  • you go girl

  • @luvinflorida "you go girl" made me think of George Carlin. hahaha

  • Love her!

  • Now she writes about REAL vampires that don't sparkle! :D

I hope she writes more vampire books now :3

  • The Lebron James of writers fuck her piece of shit. I don't care if she believes in god or not. But I don't want to here about her every fucking day. So she quit enough already they are treating hag like she is somebody she is nobody, nobody.

  • Who gives a shit about Anne Rice leaving the Catholic Church she has done it before. Why should anyone based their beliefs on what she says. Fuck her old wrinkled up hag. She makes profits with her stupid vampire books where there is killing and all kinds of shit and now this. Stop reported about this hag. Her son is a fruit that is why she quit. FUCK ANNE RICE AND KILLER VAMPIRE BOOKS.

  • I find what she is doing to be very distasteful. She certainly has the right to leave the Church, but choosing to make a media event of it is lacking in class. She did this same thing when she decided to become a Christian. She is quite into self promotion. Disgusting.

  • @TheColonialpatriot *chuclkling* You know you got a point, pretty bad to get on TV just to show everyone how one likes to "straddle the fence". As the saying goes "If you don't stand for something, you'll fall for anything". :)

  • Good for her for leaving the Catholic church. She's deluded, however, regarding Jesus' stance on homosexuality if she is convinced that it's ok to be a practicing homosexual. It's not sinful to be tempted for even Jesus was in all points tempted as we are, yet was without sin. Those sympathizing with homosexuality do you sympathize with the practicing adulterers? The practicing drunkards? The practicing murderers? It's all the same. It's all a caving in to the flesh. Consider God's word below

  • @Headswithsacks Largely, in my opinion, she didn't understand John 15:18-19. She didn't want to face persecution from the world as Jesus did. She is now an apostate.

  • Galatians 5: 19The acts of the sinful nature are obvious: sexual immorality, impurity and debauchery; 20idolatry and witchcraft; hatred, discord, jealousy, fits of rage, selfish ambition, dissensions, factions 21and envy; drunkenness, orgies, and the like. I warn you, as I did before, that those who live like this will not inherit the kingdom of God.

  • 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness and self-control. Against such things there is no law. 24Those who belong to Christ Jesus have crucified the sinful nature with its passions and desires. 25Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit. 26Let us not become conceited, provoking and envying each other.

  • 2Preach the Word; be prepared in season and out of season; correct, rebuke and encourage—with great patience and careful instruction. 3For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear.

  • 4They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. 5But you, keep your head in all situations, endure hardship, do the work of an evangelist, discharge all the duties of your ministry.

  • Keep looking....maybe something other than Catholic. You are going to drag many DOWN with you? Or maybe you are just jumping back on the VAMPIRE bandwagon... going back to the money???? More money in Vampires than Jesus? You have made yourself UNBELIEVABLE. "Thank God you said this?" Ironic????? I won't touch your books.

  • your books suck

  • I just wish she could stop reading that fictional book called "The Holy Bible" , but it's a first step!

  • @tag1rn Well said, friend.

  • hey, if she thinks Christianity has a problem with gay people wait till she gets a load of Islam! What a foolish woman!

  • Jesus' message was to LOVE...why complicate something so simple...? Because, it's human nature to complicate that which is simple!

  • I'm glad that she's changed her tone on all of this. She's too intelligent of a person to be brainwashed by the modern Christian movement. Her writing fell way too low once she "converted", and with this, I hope she becomes the writer that she used to be. Kudos to you, Anne, and I hope this means well for you.

  • I AM SO HAPPY TO HEAR THIS. BECAUSE OF HER RELIGIOUS CHOICES HER BOOKS HAVE BEEN HORRIBLE. I WILL ALWAYS SUPPORT HER, AND I WILL START READING HER BOOKS AGAIN.

  • Christ came to establish a Church which he gave authority to teach in his name. you can't separate Christ from the Church. He asked Paul on the road to Damascus, "Why do you persecute me?" Therefore he identified with his followers. So I don't see how Anne can leave the Church and still be committed to Jesus. He would want her to come back home. I don't mean to critical, I've been a fan of hers for many years, I just pray for her to see the light.

  • Great stuff, Anne. But they're coming for you now...especially the fundagelicals will be out to smear you.

  • @AgentKLF love the term "fundagelicals" - thanks for the grin!

  • Many of us lovers of Jesus / God have left organized Christianity.... we are the church, not the buildings or the man-made system of Christianity. Jesus set people from "religion", He didn't come to start another one!

  • Il always stand by you Anne <3

  • To indict all of christianity because of the flaws she finds in Catholicism is wrong. Catholicism is not ALL of christianity.

  • @quietfire71 But sadly it's not just Catholicism I grew up Charismatic and Pentecoastal, I have some Southern Baptists in the family and ditto. It seems to be the majority opinion.

  • Comment removed

  • Everything that is quoted by Jesus in the Bible was not actually written by him. It was recorded by his disciples, who also wrote the rest of the New Testament which does declare that homosexuality is a sin. The New Testament is not a buffet table to pick and choose what you like and throw out what you don't like. As a Christian, I do believe in showing love and respect to the Gay Community but that does not mean I am called to condone an immoral lifestyle

  • @defofcool You are true in saying that the New Testament declares homosex a sin but Jesus NEVER made any mention of it. EVER! AT ALL! NOT ONCE!

And no one is asking you to condone anything. Let us have the same protections that you would want any of your children to have. MYOB!

  • You tell 'em Anne! Love ya!

  • @thisCatholic

"God made sex to be between a male and a female."

And yet jesus never made one statement against homosexuality.

"She obviously was never a committed Christian"

And you aren't either by judging her.

"She didn't "just leave;" she never was really in the fold."

    Bear false witness much?

  • Wow, I did not think Anne Rice was a sheeple...Glad she broke from the flock;)

  • so . . . she isn't "quitting Christianity," just organized religion.

  • she can't see it because religion today is so full of corruption greed pride and hate and not what it is meant to be; a foundation of belief and life guidence

  • message is to live as a good person, follow what he taught....live a good life to be rewarded.....this world didnt come from nothing. and about "reproductive rights" THOW SHALL NOT KILL! who cares what some people in the church are doing, Jesus has nothing to do with sleesy people in the church. not everyone is like that.

  • Ok, I like where she is going but why not walk away from the Bronze Age BULLSHIT altogether? After all you can't have the New Testament without the old Jesus made this very clear! Now, if you worship Paul or you think his words carry more weight than Jesus' then you can make the arguement although a weak one.

Like I said, I like where Rice is going but this is just more PICKING & CHOOSING! Which is all the Christians have that understand how disgusting many parts of the Bible are!

  • I'm an atheist and I can find where the Bible says gay people should be put to death. It's in leviticus. Look harder mrs rice.

  • @dennist3hmenace Leviticus 20:13 states: "If a man lies with a mankind as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination; they should surely be put to death."

but at the same time Leviticus also says not to wear clothing of blended cloth, it says do not eat pork or crustaceans. that is all old testament while in the new testament St. Paul said: For the whole law is fulfilled in one word, even in this: Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself."

  • I highly respect her for being so open about her views. I think people, no matter what their beliefs or change of beliefs, should always be honest. I was raised as a liberal Christian and so I appreciate liberal Christians like Ann Rice standing up for moderation and humility. Too many religious people act like they have the answer for everything. There is nothing that irritates me more than a fundamentalist who defends their dogma through intellectual dishonesty and righteous arrogance.

  • Christ's real message? we may never know. The gospels we read today were written 100 years after his death and It's suspected that Romans wrote the gospels because of all the mistakes about Judaism written in the gospel and how Pontius Pilate, a known Jew hater, was suddenly sympathetic to Jesus the Jew.

Think about this as well, when the bible was organized by the council of Nicaea 3 centuries after Jesus' death, a lot of gospels were left out and were banned.

  • @flipmaya well said most people have no clue what you said is as correct as their sheep herding themselves to church and not even know why or history of their book they so cherish

  • @flipmaya

God promised us that he would preserve his word. This should be enough assurance for anyone.

  • @TheSindakit Have you ever compared the Torah to the old testament? Those two texts are supposed to be the same yet you would notice some differences if you read the Torah that was translated to Hebrew to English than the Old Testament that was translated from Hebrew, to Greek, to Latin then to English.

  • @flipmaya

The Holy Bible, both Old and New Covenants, is the completion of Gods word. He promised us that it would be preserved, and it has. Despite all of the backlash against the book, it has endured, that is a miracle. Pray to the Father, and he will reveal to you what the truth is, stay in the word and stay looking up always! I suggest you watch a video by nowheretorun1984 about the council of Nicaea

  • @TheSindakit watched the video you were referencing about but I could still poke holes in his arguments. You failed to compare the Torah and the Old testament like I suggested... kinda disappointing really.

  • @flipmaya

Lean not on your own understanding, but that of the Father. I cannot make you see anything, for I am no one. Pray to him to reveal to you and fully equip you for the battle. 1John 2:27 says that the anointing which abides in us, teaches us of all things, you must surrender to the Holy Spirit and seek it's guidance. Human intellect and discernment means nothing when you are seeking things of the spirit, seek it in spirit and you will find truth.

  • @TheSindakit I could not deny how poetic you are, bravo.
