It's kind of the same thing with the Type 59, I never cease to be amazed at how retarded many WoT players are, when they just keep blasting at the Type and do no damage, INSTEAD of keeping atleast 15 HE(High Explosive) shell with them to counter the sloped armor.

you might not get type or amx unless you get good hits with AP, but with HE you will do slightly less damage, but you will ACTUALLY DO some damage at all. Hope many MANY WoT players read this, because we need to make type 59 suffer! :)

Дружище,ты сам нуб. Фугасы на таких орудиях впринципе эффективнее из-за малой начальной скорости снаряды,да и ББ стрелять тут бессмысленно,ибо не пробитие. Фугасы же почти гарантированно наносят урон. Учим матчасть,не постим фигню.

Lol this reminds me of a bttle I had in my AMX 38 I held off a D1 and two AMX 38s it took them 126 shots and two whole minutes to kill me I managed to kill a t 46 and a PZ 3 in that same battle. It was really anoying since the HE killed my gunner so I couldnt hit the weak spots they kept showing me.

@LegitArrowtotheknee What are you talking about? The AMX 40 currently has '70' front hull/front turret armour - the front hull armour of a KV is only '75'. The AMX 40 is the most heavily armoured IV light tank in WoT.

Есть правда 1 место слабое - тримплекс в ВБЛ. Пробивается хорошо(не всегда с уроном правда) и критуется мехвод, заряжающий, рация или бк + тримплекс:)

@SvarunPogani french lower tiers (till 4-5) have the best armor of all nations. but also the guns are mostly bad and mobility to. the other extreme is that their high tiers are very very weak armor but good und very fast shooting gun and good mobility. the guns in these strange looking turrets have 6 round magacines and shoot faster then all other heavy, but after the 6th round they need longer to load new 6 shot magacine :)

@CMDRFandragon well the fact is after WWII long-rod perpetrators defeated sloped armor, as they have a much higher normalization rate (i.e. upon impact the round arches up and then penetrates effectively cancelling the angle), the density of DU darts is helpful too (APFSDS). Thats why the angle of most MBT's armor is usually mild, with the exception of Israeli (Merkava.4) and Russian MBTs (Type-insert number).
