  • The righteousness Christ gives comes from God before the law and prophets, it is perpetual righteousness. We do not thirst for the rightousness coming from Christ obeying law, do we.?

  • The righteousnees imputed to us according to Paul, RC, Macarthur,Phillip Johnson all say the righteousness we receive comes from Christ obeying law and doing its works. In fact most reformers repeat this mantra. The truth is; But now the righteousness of God apart from the law is revealed being wittnessed by the law and prophets.Rom3:21 They say a backwards way saying we receive righteousness of law. Christ fulfilled law He did not obey it to gain righteousness. He was born eternally righteous

  • Shalom! Do any of you really know the righteousness of יהושע משיח?

  • Shalom! Do you know יהושע משיח?

  • Each of us will be judged according to our own faith, the faith of another will not be credited to anyone. It was Abraham's own faith which God regarded as righteous, even though he was not perfect. Trusting God (which is Biblical faith) is always pleasing to God. Imputed righteousness is an evil, false and unjust doctrine.

  • washer just tries to rationalize the theology he reads into scripture ,,sounds sheep-like & humble ..& all those who refuse & do not desire the love of truth but surround themselves with calvinist writings & people ..willingly blind. ..oh yea ..& special ..respected...elect..etc.. i still have yet to convence many people that there is this huge campaign of this"predestination"doctrine scattered about the web..they think im makin it all up...they dont believe anyone could believe such things

  • The idea that when God looks at a believer who sins, he see's the imputed righteousness of Christ, is total nonsense. It is a blatant denial of God's omniscience! The eyes of the Lord are in every place, beholding the evil and the good! And Jesus said to the Churches "I know they works". God see's you if you sin and you must repent. God does not see some "imputed righteousness of Christ". Not a single verse in the Bible says that Christ's righteousness is transferred to us.

  • Imputed righteousness is not that Christ's works of the law are transferred to our account so that we can be justified. We are justified by God's grace apart from the works of the law. Imputed righteousness, according to Romans 4, is forgiveness. It is when God treats us as righteous. When we turn from our sins, God treats us as if we never sinned (imputed righteous, forgiven).

  • Imputative righteousness? this is a hope which shall perish from you willfully blind tares, who deny the power of the living Christ; when the Rock falls upon you, and grinds you to powder.

...the children of God are manifest, and the children of the devil: whosoever DOETH NOT righteousness is not of God...HE THAT DOETH righteousness is righteous...He that committeth sin is of the devil...the Son of God was manifested, that he might destroy the works of the devil. 1 Jn 3:10.7.8.

  • Yes 1 John clearly refutes this idea that you can be righteous in your position while remaining unrighteous in your practice!

Only those who repent (turn from sin) are forgiven (imputed righteous). Imputed righteousness, according to Romans 4, is nothing more than God's forgiveness. That is the righteousness of God, it is unmerited forgiveness from Him given to those who repent.

  • me me me me me in the name of Jesus. You you you you you in the name of Satan.

  • PREACH IT BRO. PAUL!!!

  • So wrong. 2Cor says old things are passed away behold ALL THINGS are become new you cant read that verse and say there only has to be some change.

This guys pushing works salvation under the term repentance, BUT HE STILL SINS (has he really repented?) so he minimized it to the point of some change but this doesnt fit with what regeneration is in the bible.

Read Jhn 3:18 - you believe; your're saved! Repentance is work: "And God saw their works, that they turned from their evil way"Jonah 3:10

  • Repentance is a fruit of the Holy Spirit, credited to God, not man, not mans "work".In other words, a man is DEAD in SIN before regeneration. The faith is given by God as our 1st gift, the repentance & belief comes as a result of that regeneration by God alone, "behold all things become new", IE new creature in Christ.Salvation is of the Lord. NO man before regeneration would ever submit to God, in repentance or belief, it's God's work alone that saves us, changes our heart, brings us to glory!

  • Two more things, Jhn 3:18 who give the man the ability to believe? answer God. Jonah 3:10, God's sovereign, He ordains the means as well as the ends of His will. that "human response" call it whatever you want was not a free will choice of the people, God was at work behind them working His plan. Gen 50:20 as for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good...

  • I guess God's just planned for you to burn in hell forever then. Because he makes it clear in the bible that works are not part of salvation. "Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we SHOULD walk in them."

I dont care if you think he's forcing you to do them or not its not part of salvation.

Rom 4:4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.

  • @EZEKIEL3622 Holy spirit convicts man of Sin to those, who do not believe

  • acts 7:10

  • Jesus said "if your eye causes you to sin pluck it out, If your hand causes you to sin cut it off.. Whats up with that? Sounds like some kind of works..For it is better for you to loose one of the parts of your body, then for your whole body to go into hell.

  • For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast.

and if by grace, then is it no more of works: otherwise grace is no more grace.

But if it be of works, then is it no more grace: otherwise work is no more work.
