I can't stand it! It's "The Cathedral Quartet" singing "Movin' Up to Gloryland" on the 1983 "Live in Atlanta" album on the Riversong / Heartwarming / Benson label.
This song wasn't on the first pressings of the album because of copyright issues. May have something to do with the current 1983 copyright date on the song written by Lee Roy Abernathy.
I don't think age is my standard for classic in music, but if a song can and does stand the test of time for quality. Kinda like The Andy Griffin show or I love lucy. Although, it doesn't have to be 50 years, you can have a classic like Rich Mullins "Awesome God" that is not all that old but still a classic. Hope that helps.

You mentioned Rich Mullins... I figure the only reason God would call him home early would be to get started writing the music we'll be singin' in eternity. I'm looking forward to that, and singin' alongside George Younce when I get there!

Dan, I think I know it, but I'm not sure of the year and album.
I know it's George Younce, ad I believe it's the Cathedral Quartet. But I can't give you the critical pieces. Where and when?
How old are you considering "Classic?"
