Why is Tim Pawlenty talking about the Super Bowl??? The Vikings haven't been close to the Super Bowl for thirty years, so why is he mentioning the Super Bowl??
For example, Barack 'the moron' D'ohBama gave an average of just 3.8% of his income to charity over the past eight years. At that amount, he's almost as charitable as your average european.
My wife and I gave more than 12% to charity last year and every year we've been together.
The average American conservative gives 2 to 3 times more in charity than the average American liberal. The average American liberal gives more than your average European. There's 300 million of us.
"My wife and I gave more than 12% to charity last year and every year we've been together."

Idiot who raised taxes after promising to slash them. Moron who doesn't give a rat's behind about the state he runs or it's citizens.
pawlenty is a fucking crook. During his campaign he said he will not raise taxes to help the working class and all that bullshit. But what does he do instead, he raises the licensing costs on businesses by like 3x the amount, so they end up raising their prices to compensate, and who pays for the compensation...the working class.
Super bowl compared to President? Wow two very different field. If I was to put the president in a super bowl it would have to be Obama not Dr.Evil. Experience wise still Obama because he has a clear head and can think through difficult situation. So I guess McCain can still sit on the side line while Bush is coming to a retire.
McCain is a crash test dummy. He wrecked planes like it was going out of style. It's his MAVERICK blood.
Voting for him is like voting for Yosemite Sam. You never know what the fuck he is going to do.
Here we are flying into dangerous thundering storm clouds of an uncertain future and we are going to handle the wheel over to the guy with a kamikaze headband wrapped tightly around his skull?
No thanks. Give the wheel the more level headed pilot who will at least listen to ground control.

Here we go again! Now they're changing the strategy back to experience versus youth. The McCain camp is a circus. If it wasn't because of all the prejudice in our country Obama right now would be ahead with 80% against 15% with 5% undecided agaist McCain, because McCain is just lame, with no ideas, no direction, no plans and no changes. McCain is both Bush and Bob Dole combined in one person, plus Palin is nothing more than a very bad joke.
Basically, McCain and Obama have held the EXACT SAME POSITION. McCain just held it longer and was a rubber stamp for both Bushes and Reagan. Neither of them have ever been president.
listen up people there have been numerous people in high political power positions with tons of years in office and did a shit job and vice versa. it really isnt about who has been governor longer or senator longer.. it is about quality of the candidate.. palin cant even name a newspaper she reads because she probably doesnt read them or know how... people will vote for whoever. obama will win.
"My impression is [Obama] thinks that if we leave, somehow the Iraqis are going to have an epiphany" of peaceful coexistence among warring sects. I've seen zero evidence of that." -- Joe Biden
"We can call it quits and withdraw from Iraq. I think that would be a gigantic mistake. Or we can set a deadline for pulling out, which I fear will only encourage our enemies to wait us out -- equally a mistake." -- Joe Biden
So I guess we should just amend the constitution so whichever senator has the most experience on the election year automatically becomes president. After all, experience is directly proportional to quality, according to this!
One of Hollywood's few Republicans has switched his vote. Dennis Hopper, 72, told reporters in France that he's praying for an Obama victory, despite decades as a Bush supporter.
"I voted for Bush, father and son, but this time I'll vote for Obama," he told journalists at the opening of a show on his life and work.
"I pray God, Barack Obama is elected," he said, calling the current administration's many "lies."
Dr. Mr. Pawlenty, YOU HAVE to put the rookie in the game when the current quarterback and back-up quarter back are out-of-commission...both physically and mentally.
Obama's no rookie fool. You racists don't get it Obama is going to be a global leader. The banks are creating a Global Economy as we speak, Global Government is only the next natural step in our human evolution. It's time to put Constitutions and Sovereignty aside, embrace open borders and world currency and become part of the Global Community ! Barack Obama can be that Global Leader !
This is a silly thing to say.... I dont think it would be hard to find game changing rookies that if they had made it to the superbowl they would have been played. Ok Obama might be a rookie, but he has made it to the superbowl... so now you bench him? The one who lead the team? (think i went to far styaing with the theme)I am glad this guy isnt my coach.
Wonder if he would put the 72 yearold to run the ball? Oh thats a funny image McCain suited up standing behind the Pats.
This campaign reminds me of 92. Republicans said Clinton was not loyal to America...implied he went to Soviet Union and was a puppet trying to take over our government. Isn't this what Republicans do every fucking 4 years???
Clinton, Kerry, now Obama...personal smear attacks absent of ISSUES.
America is fed up with your distractions...they are a insult to families struggling in this economy.
You know, if you ever hear Internet rumors about Obama, there's an easy way to check the truth. You simply Google "Fight the Smears," go to the "Fight the Smears" website and look up the rumor there. It will link you to stories where real reporters have researched the truth (as opposed to biased McCain Internet hacks). And if you hear a false Internet rumor, or your friends or family believe something false about Obama, you can just guide people to "Fight the Smears" so they can find the truth.
And so... Pawlenty the Toady... says we don't put the rookie in the Super Bowl? What about Sarah Palin, who can't even complete a coherent sentence?
Pawlenty ought to shut his face. Maybe after he gets voted out of office he can go coach the Vikings, who could use his excellent advice to win the Super Bowl.
shame on you pawlenty.....any one who can say these things when palin is sitting in the wings should be ashamed....the educated voter will see that this is another republican putting party first.
well "that rookie" just happen to be a superstar, so u DO put him in the game.
mccain might be a experienced veteran, but he can't play that damn sport anymore. his skills have diminished. he's a old worn out has-been player that can't play the game anymore.
But what happens when that veteran quarterback gets a concussion that knocks him out of the game and they call on the highschool punter to replace him?

What about Tom Brady Super Bowl XXXVI? MVP (!) after relieving the older unaccomplished, but battle worn and injured Drew Bledsoe. Brady only threw 3 passes in the NFL in his first and second season and in his second year won the title quite convincingly. Don't tell me inexperienced people can't come in and shock people and do unexplainable things like win a Super Bowl. Barack is well suited to run America, he's the young inexperienced, hugely talented Tom Brady, minus the 2008 leg injury.
I thought he was talking about Palin, which would be totally justified. But he is talking about Obama????
The republicans keep sticking to this argument because they have nothing else to say.
The 'rookie' argument didn't work for Hilary and it's NOT working for McCain. Get used to it!
It's not working because the majority of the public KNOW Obama has a lot of experience & he is a true leader. & when republicans make the 'rookie' argument they're just being major hypocrites because of Palin.
So...why did McCain pick rookie Palin??? Palin doesn't even have talent.
Palin reminds me of this episode of Futurama, when Leela became the first female blurnsball player, only because she was cute and people liked laughing at her. It was a disgrace to all talented players, and at the end, good women joined the league.
Palin is a similar disgrace, and giving her a pass because she winks at the camera and is "hot" is sexist. McCain's turned this race into an MTV reality show.
Amazing how versatile John McCain is! Have you noticed?
When he wants to be Mr. Maverick Outsider he's so distant from the beltway it's like he's never been to D.C or served in Washington power circles for 26 years....but when he wants to drum up the experience angle, then suddenly he's (tadaa!!) Mr. Super Experienced Man! Now with kung fu legislative action! Hiyaaa!
I think its obvious that the rookie statement is just ridiculous. Even though there are multiple examples showing how rookies can step up in times of tribulation, this is not a football game. Regardless of hoe long McCain has been in the system, people just don't want to follow him. His years in the senate where no more than a job he had before running for senate. his record is not what he says it is he is a mediocre at best when it comes to challenging popular opinion in Washington.
Rev. Wright wrote in a eulogy of the late scholar Asa Hilliard in the November/December 2007 issue. "The Italians for the most part looked down their garlic noses at the Galileans."
Wright continued, "From the circumstances surrounding Jesus' birth (in a barn in a township that was under the Apartheid Roman government that said his daddy had to be in), up to and including the circumstances surrounding Jesus' death on a cross, a Roman cross, public lynching Italian style.
Way to say it Pawlenty. I mean you have all that experience fucking with Minnesota so much. McCain sucks and is definatly not a maverick. Btw we are losing the game because of bad quaterbacks (republicans) not the rookies.
obama will be a rookie in terms of hell get better and better as he continues to lead the country. mccain will be good for a certain amount of time but that will be it. the possibility of sarah palin leading the country scares me
The Church of America annoints its new Pope, John McCain, and sends him forth to cut taxes for the rich, launch pre-emptive wars, juice up electric chairs and despoil the earth.
Lol di this guy call McCain "grisly". Republicans are always using words they dont know. I think he meant to say "grizzled", then again using sports analogies is a sure sign that one is an idiot.
McCain wont be running the government he will be sleeping or dead because hes so old. He will let Palin run it and she is a fucking total rookie. She wants to enforce her religion and make it mandatory. She will remove common sense from the schools and replace it with the bible, no more science. She wants to drop nukes and start her holy apocalypse that will kill everyone. her and her secessionist husband have been plotting this to take over our country from start.
you don't put the fans in either. when obama is president, and mccain croaks, we're all going to breath a sigh of relief that palin wasn't there to take over.
It's the Heisman trophy-winning rookie against the 45 year-old QB with two bad knees who never was any good. And the backups are a solid veteran and a clumsy rookie from a hick school who hasn't taken a snap in the NFL. Yeah, football metaphor. Good idea.
a wonderful attempt to make an obserd connection between football/ joe six pack/ and the most important office in the world. Its about who is the best choice based on what really works verses what has never worked...trickle down economics has failed more than it has been used, end this horrible idea, call off all TV and radio ads and just debate the facts. Try it and just see what happens when you can no longer use NLP (look it up) to influence the under educated masses.
your completely right, lets not put a smart man in, lets elect a old man who belongs in a nursing home, so when he dies we have a retard hockey mom with the IQ of a goldfish run the country ... what a good book that would be
Since this has become a football program heres my score McCain = Hasselbeck ,Jon Kitna good until they start believing they can play. Obama=McNabb,Vince Young, Jason Campbell Young ,Dynamic , Talented, needs good team and sound plan to win.Biden=Brad Johnson,Jeff Garcia Back ups who could win the game if something happens to the starter. Palin =Rex Grossman absolute incompetent. Shouldn't be on the field at any time.
Why do people focus on McKain's age but not Obama's racism and racist friends. I understand you women not wanting a female VP, how could her experience as a Governer ever compare to the limited experice of a Senator?
a senator in DC as opposed to a Governor of the most uniquely different state in the Union. Alaska has more in common with Alaska than the US. Their entire economy is on an oil bubble. Huckabee is 20 times more qualified than Palin, and she has less executive experience than virtually any President ever elected. At least Bush 43 was governor of TEXAS for 2 years first, that state relates to America far more than Alaska.
And you also don't field a team with one old Quarter Back that has a bum knee and five concussions (McCain) and a back up quarter back that can't remember the plays and whose only prior experience was as a cheerleader (Palin).
When all the "old hands" are corrupt powermongering bastards that play the game for the rich and screw the middle class out of existance by funneling them into the swelling ranks of the poor and trapping them into a revolving welfare system with no exist, damned straight I'd like to see a "rookie" come in and break up the "good ol' boys" club!! I'm fed up with "experienced" politicians! "Experienced" just means they know how best to screw everyone over to get what they and their rich pals want!
The GOP should be ashamed of their campaign, and will have to pay the price when the Senate goes 60 for the Democrats and a Democrat in the White House.
McCain? Courageous? Honorable? I don't know about you, but someone who accuses someone of being friends with a terrorist behind his back is not courageous and an honorable man would not run a campaign based on lies and fear.
Pbbttt...Pawlenty must have the wrong guy. But grizzly, maybe he's got something there...
Yeah, if I were a coach I'd put in a quarterback who's failed me time and again as well, instead of taking a chance with a rookie with a lot of promise. Seniority over skill. -_- *sigh*
Demonrat depth chart: a foolish rookie with no college (political executive position) experience for a starter and an accident-prone veteran backup.
Republicrat depth chart: a veteran, hard-nosed starter and rookie who did extremely well in college.
Don't rookies normally back up the veteran as they "learn the ropes"? The Demonrat plan is to put high-school backup with no college experience as the professional starter.
dude... palin went to 5 colleges and graduated in 6 years. she studied journalism at idaho. she did not do well in school. mccain finished 5th to last in college.
She went to 5 colleges? Proof? Even if I concede your point, she has FAR MORE real-world experience than D'ohBama! McCain has far more as well!
BTW - she minored in political science too.
On the other hand, D'ohBama doesn't talk about his greatest executive experience - running an educational foundation that Bill Ayers recruited him to run, which spent millions to indoctrinate youth with marxism rather than math, reading and writing.
Sarah Palin went to at least four different colleges over the course of six years before getting a degree from the University of Idaho in 1987, the Associated Press reports. - you find this anywhere very quickly if you look.
bill ayers didn't recruit him. a republican donor to the mccain campaign recruited the people on the board and was chair of the board. bill ayers is a professor at university of chicago. is everyone who takes his class a terrorist?
So, you're point about Palin? You claimed 5 colleges earlier; besides, she wouldn't be the first person to struggle in college and succeed in the real world - look at Bill Gates!
Bill Ayers DID recruit him and turned the foundation in a marxist direction.
As for his students, they probably aren't terrorists but they are likely indoctrinated into failed marxist philosophies.
The GOP won't come out and say, "Be afraid of putting a Black Man in the White House", but they will say things like, "He doesn't see America the way WE do", or "He Pals around with Terrorists." It all points to a tactic of drilling in the subconscience that it is "Us vs. Them". It is Race Baiting and Coding at it's heart. You know it. Why else do you have the post denials and 1/2 hearted denouncing of Barack HUSSEIN Obama introductions? The GOP let's them say it, just so it can be said.
That's ridiculous. Sorry, your conspiracy nut-case theory doesn't hold water.
Here's what the message means: That marxist-liberal doesn't see the world the way we conservative, common sense republicrats see it. Race and "coding" have nothing to do with it; only morons think so.
I've known a lot of Republicans, been one for decades, and don't know that I met more than a handful of racists. I've also been politically active enough (ran for office) to meet a lot of racist demonrats.
im gonna write your name down and when obama kicks mccain ass in the polls im gonna flame the shit outta your page so block me now im gonna make new accounts and flame u so be ready for that
Well, she was a mayor and a governor. She has been a governmental Executive Officer for atleast 10 years. What governmental executive experience does D'ohBama have?
0
Nada
None
Zip
Zero
In fact, the only executive experience he has is running that marxist-indoctrination education program that domestic terrorist Bill Ayers recruited him to run. (No wonder he never brings it up...)
He's even dumb enough to run to the UN Security Council over a problem with Russia... DUMB!
Ask yourself, is someone who understands so little - practically nothing - about the basics, the simple things, of foreign policy ready to be president since that's the president's biggest responsibility?

The banks are creating a Global Economy as we speak, Global Government is only the next natural step in our human evolution. It's time to put Constitutions and Sovereignty aside, embrace open borders and world currency and become part of the Global Community ! Barack Obama can be that Global Leader !

Why is it that Republicans can not understand one thing. Cliche's are not going to win your election.
You have shot yourselves in the foot with bringing in Palin and Republicans are going to have their asses handed to them in November.
These guys have more rhetoric than Ali on a fight night. The American people have had it with the Republican administration.
You have ruined the country, you have ruined the party and you will be lucky to see the White House in the next 30 years.

Obama WILL win.

Not that any of that made sense.
And Fox is rarely interested in facts ..I will say this anyway.
Fact - Neither one of them have experience in the executive branch.
Fact- Palin has less experience then Biden
Fact- Palin supported Obama intially.
Fact- Biden ran against Obama and wanted to win the primary.
Fact-Biden is on the winning ticket.
Fact- Obama is the better man for the job.

& when republicans make the 'rookie' argument they're just being major hypocrites because of Palin.
skar1111 3 years ago
So...why did McCain pick rookie Palin??? Palin doesn't even have talent.
Palin reminds me of this episode of Futurama, when Leela became the first female blurnsball player, only because she was cute and people liked laughing at her. It was a disgrace to all talented players, and at the end, good women joined the league.
Palin is a similar disgrace, and giving her a pass because she winks at the camera and is "hot" is sexist. McCain's turned this race into an MTV reality show.

Why do people focus on McKain's age but not Obama's racism and racist friends. I understand you women not wanting a female VP, how could her experience as a Governer ever compare to the limited experice of a Senator?
alexas0001 3 years ago
a senator in DC as opposed to a Governor of the most uniquely different state in the Union.

At least the REpublicrats have the line up right.
TedinLasVegas 3 years ago
dude... palin went to 5 colleges and graduated in 6 years. she studied journalism at idaho. she did not do well in school. mccain finished 5th to last in college.
mepalmeryoshi 3 years ago
She went to 5 colleges? Proof? Even if I concede your point, she has FAR MORE real-world experience than D'ohBama! McCain has far more as well!
BTW - she minored in political science too.
On the other hand, D'ohBama doesn't talk about his greatest executive experience - running an educational foundation that Bill Ayers recruited him to run, which spent millions to indoctrinate youth with marxism rather than math, reading and writing.
Wonder why that is????
TedinLasVegas 3 years ago
Sarah Palin went to at least four different colleges over the course of six years before getting a degree from the University of Idaho in 1987, the Associated Press reports. - you find this anywhere very quickly if you look.
bill ayers didn't recruit him. a republican donor to the mccain campaign recruited the people on the board and was chair of the board. bill ayers is a professor at university of chicago. is everyone who takes his class a terrorist?
mepalmeryoshi 3 years ago

The GOP let's them say it, just so it can be said.
huskercane 3 years ago
That's ridiculous. Sorry, your conspiracy nut-case theory doesn't hold water.
Here's what the message means: That marxist-liberal doesn't see the world the way we conservative, common sense republicrats see it. Race and "coding" have nothing to do with it; only morons think so.
I've known a lot of Republicans, been one for decades, and don't know that I met more than a handful of racists. I've also been politically active enough (ran for office) to meet a lot of racist demonrats.
