Surprisingly good song writing. Heavy, big hooks, great break-downs, and it's progressive without being over the top. The only part that was lacking somewhat was the verse where he is kinda pitchy in spots. Other than that, this is pretty damned good. I've been playing guitar, singing, and writing at a high level for 30 yrs, have 3 metal bands locally in Dallas, and appreciate this for what it is....a live recording. Good stuff!!!
