i didn't like this stupid game having to puase all the time got on my nerves. the combat sucked, having only 3 other party members was anoying. story was weak i hated the characters. magic and item craft systems were god awful. and rouges were broken and useless one of the worst games ever
Yes, the Deep Roads are infuriatingly tedious in DA:O... especially when you run into the spiders. What is it with RPG's and spiders... Geez... Anyway, I always felt like DA:O was just far too drawn out for its own good. The fact that there's just so much combat and it takes a REALLY long time to get through really started to wear on me after the first 10 hours or so. Compound that with the game being 50+ hours easily and it's such a pain to play.
@MrSanta78 I think a lot of people like the Fade (for example, I recently listened to podcast in which a reviewer complained that there weren't any quests in DA2 which were as interesting and inventive as the Circle Fade quest in DA:O). I for one readily admit that the shapeshifting part in particular was really clever...I just wish I hadn't been forced to travel back and forth between the various maze-like parts of the Fade for such an extended period of time.
