Actualy now that i think about it he actualy might be flattered that well over 100 years and his peice is still loved. im glad that classicle music can be enjoyed by a wider variaty now because of musicians like draconian that freshen up classics:)
You're both idiots who listen to either version and think that it's okay for sub-par "musicians" to completely barf all over one of the most spectacular preludes I've ever heard.
Thought the real version sounds kinda happy, they made a perfect combination with the dark and slow instrumental music and the lyrics!! And it really nice with the rest of the songs of this album!!:D:D:D

OK this is nothing like the original song, and, honestly, it seems to miss all of the nuance and detail of the original. Gorguts would tear these folks up
Well, you can tell that its the same song atleast. and besides they're a metal band and obviously gonna do a metal cover and make it their own, I like both this version and the original.
The opening chords of this song is based on the beginning of Rachmaninov`s piano-prelude opus 3 number 2....and the keyboard part at the middle of the song is pretty much directly borrowed from this prelude :-) ... I played this piano piece at a competition and I got a second place :D ... it has been a popular hit for more than houndred years :-)
@Rhetoricrhino I havbe fallen in love with this song and the piano, and now, because of you, im searching the original piece and listening...i will ask one friendo of mine to play it in live for me. Thaks Soo Much!

i thought this was cool...but i think it ruined the original peice...if rachmaninoff were alive he would probably hate this...

You might be surprised. Musicians are quite a bit more open minded about exploring new avenues. I think he would be flattered.

The real version is terrifyingly sad and desperate. It is a Rachmaninov´s Prelude. Beautiful.
