Halo Wars is actually very good.

If your a halo fan you know the majority of the units and there capabilities. The story is familiar.

The game on harder levels actually requires strategy, A.I is good.Tactics matter.

The interface is very simple and works very well on the 360 pad.

halo wars is gona be ammaising, comes out in spring (08) sometime. so not long! and u might be avble to fight the flood aswell. Ensemble (ansemble?) havent released information on the factions yet. so there may be some flood! we'll have to see. 10/10 game

there wont be flood. the first time they meet the flood is in halo combat evolved...this game takes place before the first halo.

I will be surprised if this game even compares to any PC RTS when it comes out, while the graphics are nice everything else looks pretty lame so far

It won't be. Halo Wars isn't from bungie, the developers added different vehicles and stuff to balance the game out. Plus who wants to drive a weak little anti air tank anyway?
