  • This is proof god is real.

  • @NEWSH0UNDS troll

  • @aaronilduce565 satanist

  • Who is God ?

The last time I was pounding my girlfriend she yelled out :)

YOU ARE A GOD :) hehehehehe

  • This doesn't mean run out and get some powerful magnets and stick them on your head because you can seriously mess up your brain bozos.

  • Forgive me for being slow.... How does this disprove God?

  • God is in Our head, NOW that doesn't exactly mean there is no god, But God is with in us, and Science can help us bring it out more.

  • gotta love the placebo effect here, such tripe, I may hallucinate if put in a room for an hour in the dark with a helmet on my head that is 'relaxing' me.

  • I knew this from my accident 2 years ago. The afterlife is whatever you believe it to be. For me it is endless nothing because I know that when you're dead you just rot in the ground.

  • Basically they're missing around with the senses. Scary stuff by the sounds of it.

  • all this says to me is that this device is changing the receiver (our brains) frequency..like changing the channel on a radio to allow us to experience other dimensions or shadows of other realities. The cynical view that this is just the brain's fear defense mechanism isn't even scientific. Modern physics supports the existence of up to 23 dimensions as well as infinite alternate probable realities. I think this doctor has stumbled across something that he is too narrow minded to advance.

  • @ScrapMetalBomb God only knows.

  • i'm not even christian and i don't like this!!!

  • a genuine abomination...

  • atheism at it's worst...

  • @dljc1979 Why is this atheism at its worst? and a "genuine abomination..."

  • @dljc1979 Atheism at it's worst? You mean scientific advancements? Would you like to go to the dark ages and be beheaded for not believing in the other side's religion? Would you like witch burnings? Sinner burnings? etc? Secular societies are what have given us the majority of the modern morals we have today and you think it's an abomination? I think you're legally retarded

  • @IOutDoSyndicate | YES, BE OBTUSE, BE VERY VERY OBTUSE, BE AS OBTUSE AS YOU WANT TO BE!!!!!! YOU CAN BELIEVE WHATEVER YOU WANT TO BECAUSE YOU ARE RIGHT AND EVERYONE ELSE IS WRONG YES?!?!?! OH I MUST HATE SCIENCE!!!!!! I MUST WANT TO LIVE BACK IN THE MIDDLE AGES!!!!!! I HAVE ALREADY STATED I AM NOT A CHRISTIAN YOU WORTHLESS SOULLESS FUCKING DEGENERATE!!!!!!!!!! IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS FUCKING GOD HELMET THING THEN YOU ARE BEYOND ANY KIND OF FUCKING HELP!!!!!!!!!

  • @dljc1979 Well, judging by your overuse of the word "fuck", I shall now tell you to go back to school. You're not done yet. You have highschool waiting

  • @IOutDoSyndicate | is that all you've got??!! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @dljc1979 Can't stand kids. Get out of here. You don't know anything about the world

  • @IOutDoSyndicate | yes... tell yourself whatever you wish to believe... instead i will seek the truth... as fucking always...

  • 4:01. 5 figures that were faceless. Sorta reminds of Legend of Zelda Twilight princess with the 5 guardians at arbiter grounds.

  • This is so cruel, like performing experiments on chimpanzees! So then they tell her, "It was all Magnets! ('F**king magnets, how do they work?') What's up wit all that, gurlfriend!" And she's all like, "You ain't God! Get out of my way, scientists! I just had me some Kundalini! And I'm outta here! Yo! F**king magnets, how do they work?"

  • @Awwa1 She agreed to it, and magnets aren't really involved. It's just picking up electrical impulses from brain waves that are being monitored on a computer. According to this guy, when she's alone, it's dark, and quiet, a certain area of her brain gives off bigger impulses during the moments she claims to see figures in her head.

  • Michael Persinger has been throughly debunked by double blind studies conducted by Pehr Granqvist of Uppsala U in Sweden. In other words the whole "God Helmet" fad was a fraud based on poor methodology and suggestibility. The sad episode is discussed by Canadian neuroscientist Mario Beauregard in Chapter 4 of Beauregard & O'Leary "The Spiritual Brain." It shows that the atheist community is very one-sided in its application of skepticism. Peace, Dennis

  • @sonikue23 very well said

  • Where can I get the schematics for this? At least it's legal :D

  • To quote a friend:"This knowledge does NOT prove that "God is all in the mind" as some people have suggested. Rather, it is evidence that every brain has an unbreakable connection to infinite consciousness of the Creator(Universal Force and energy/Oneness), and that this channel can be opened through physiological/technological means (which also include spiritual disciplines like meditation, yoga, etc)." :)

  • Haha. I don't base my religious convictions on visions.

  • @SkySpiral8 Neither do I.

  • could you imagine a megalomaniac leader or a zealot leader gets hold of this technology and produce this to the unsuspecting population....yep we gonna have a real version of the Matrix!

  • the helmet is nothing more than a high tech spiritual drug. Spiritual drugs have been used by several cultures to get into mystic states.

  • you could also stimulate certain brain areas to make a person "taste" an orange in their minds... but no one would say that oranges aren't real.

  • Can I rent one of these?

  • nothing new... mankind has been using shamanic tea/DMT, other Psychedelics and meditation for centuries to search for the devine within, so this research is old news for me. however, this experiment proofs nothing since our concept of reality is created by the very same brain. we belive in reality created by our brain until we jump out of it, just like waking from dream.

  • While this is an awesome experiment, the philosophy he attached is kind've silly.

It doesn't have to be infinite or endless in order to be comforting, and it doesn't have to be comforting in order to be useful in evolution.

  • @malimbar2 We say this, but even the most subtle decisions or influences mostly seem to come out of fear or doubt. Not saying this isn't the case for you, it's just something I've noticed being attached to the fear of being alone, the fear of dying, the fear of not conforming or being loved.

  • @kromeclutch I can't go to bed honey, someone is wrong on the internet! I don't have the character space to debate your digression in detail, so I'll just throw this out there. I could, with an hour to spare, give 10-20 more reasons why we do this that have nothing to do with comfort, infinity, fear, rules, or doubt. I could even throw in good reasons why evolution could have favored this, or simply allowed it to exist without caring one way or the other. Think outside the box.

  • @malimbar2 I never said evolution didn't favor it. I agree with you. There's going to be redundant iterations of all sorts of things physical and behavioral that show all living things infused with amino acids DEFINITELY favor survival and evolution. Fear is a natural chemical reaction that occurs in all of us. It is definitely healthy in short duration, but it is obvious that there are loads of people who are driven by fear/anxiety day-to-day. Some of it social, some physical.

  • @malimbar2 I'm sorry that bugged you so much, I promise it wasn't meant to be only perceiving the negative things in life. I've looked A LOT into the amino, protein, cellular, genetic, and whatever else and it's freaking amazing what we are capable of and what life has to offer us. I think of life like a fractal infinity with everything being driven by a divine resonance that stimulates all life.

Sorry for ur troubles. Here's a cute video :D /watch?v=U8vvhGixWQQ

  • Rename it to the Guilty Crown.

The meaning is subjective for everyone.

  • picked me up a god helmet yesterday, $49. that night jesus paid me a visit. we ate dinner together, had fish and some crusty bread he had in his tunic. kinda stale, then we played some MW3. he totally pwned my ass. well, he is god, after all...

  • @gaozhi2007 if you are going to make a totally useless comment at least get it right.

    God is god not jesus

  • God works through nature, that includes our brain, this is how believers will refute this experiment. I'm not arguing against this, im just saying that physiological responses should be understood within a social context which involves human interpretation. Therefore this experiment succesfully demonstrate the mechnism of religous thinking but do not disprove God.

  • @Sequialtera Well said.

  • share share share people, let mankind know knowledge instead of ignorance

  • where can i cop a god helmet?

  • how appropriate that they hired "god" to narrate the video

  • @jxhensley Is from an episode of Morgan Freeman's Through The Wormhole... is his own show...

  • I have to say though...this reminds me of Robert Monroe's experiments in 60's and 70's.

  • I knew it! God is real :P

  • @KratosTheRealGOD in the brains of those who believe it, yes.

  • Sounds like some "hippie" having a strong acid / weed / LSD / psychedelic trip.

As 4 me, NO THANKS never. But I never "felt" any spiritual or religious / spiritual thing anyway. I am waaay more earthly and carnal verses spiritual.

  • id like to get one of these, sounds interesting

  • @thomas242007 You could probably make your own, sounds like all they did was tape an electro-magnet to a ski-doo helmet. To make an electro-magnet all you need to do is coil a live wire around an iron nail (or anything made of iron) the current in the coiled wire will produce a magnetic field which will be amplified by the iron.

  • @URProductions well maybe sounds like a interesting experiment to try, ive been trying to find somewhere i could buy a design like

  • @thomas242007 Actually be careful, apparently some scientist lost the ability to write for a couple of hours doing something similar.

  • Every one needs to see this. Perfect having Morgan Freeman narrating this video.

  • So everyone's killing each other because of biochemical activity that happens in the temporal lobe of the brain?

  • they are inhancing the blood flow to the dumbass worship in comic book mentaity.beazel warned you.

  • No spiritual work, no more development, no rituals - just buy the God helment for the spiritual home user...:-) What a f.. bullshit. In America you can sell anything.

  • Very cool study, but very skewed presentation of material.

  • @Stroikabot Agreed. My respect for the personal interpretations of Michael Persinger is waning, though I still am fascinated by the research he comes up with. Watch the YouTube video "Michael Persinger on No More Secrets". It's incredibly amazing. He exemplifies evidence of shared consciousness as telepathy through electromagnetic fields. See also the work on morphic fields done by Dr. Rupert Sheldrake. The man is a true genius.

  • Can you say sensory deprivation? That will make anyone hallucinate.

  • how to make plox?

  • dmt + helmet = win

  • @reneonlineg1 +no2

  • @reneonlineg1 yeah, i was thinking that i want to try that helmet out while high, of course, i would want to try it sober first though.

  • Why does the narrator sound like he's in a tin can?

  • @joejumps4fun because he is.

  • @joejumps4fun Because he is oscar the groach and he lives in a tin can. Or maybe he is just a tiny man living in a can.

  • Brilliant

  • Funny how they use Morgan Freeman aka God resonator in his movie career to subliminally denounce a God.

  • Comment removed

  • Sooooooooo Morgan Freema is god?

  • Gone @ "Just chillin"

    Haha

  • While I'm an atheist myself, I find the conclusions of the narrator rather absurd.

The "god helmet" isn't an element in favor of atheism any more than one in favor of deism: it could be the psychic equivalent of a binocular, amplifying a latent human ability to perceive "something" (or, how a true believer described it a third eye contact lense). After all, the fact that we can have someone perceive imaginary smells by stimulating his brain doesn't mean that normal smells are imaginary.

  • @ThisOneIsTaken

Or, one could argue, why would we have the ability to perceive something that doesn't exist?

I should also mention how Persinger's associating the religious experiences of famous figures to temporal lobe damages is entirely anecdotal. What I find interesting is how he seems to have developped something similiar to a "gaia" theory involing Earth magnetic field as a repository for all of human consciousness, with some conspiracy theory thrown in for good measure.

  • @ThisOneIsTaken

Here, this man phrased it better than me:

Why God Doesn't Use Biostatistics - Dr. Andrew Newberg

    18:55 to 19:23

This is not an attempt to encourage belief in supernatural, I just dislike faulty argumentations as I doubt they encourage crytical thinking.

  • yes, I am sure religious people have faith because of "a feeling".

  • Amazing

  • Cool looking helmet. How can we sign up to try this thing?

I am really tired of the religious people thinking only god can create these feelings. There are very few 'only' in our world.

  • my cock !

  • this girl is so stupid

  • just used the god helmet, vaped 70mg of freebase DMT, and had sex with a black hole that streamed information telepathically through my junk.

  • Doing this tonight.

  • human wants to become god

nothing else than the NWOelites victory

why is it so hard to be a simple human?

    satanic bullshit!!!!!!!

  • @idealfuntnt It's naive to think that way, we should strive for more knowledge and an understanding of the world. Personally I think what this man has done and is doing is revolutionary work and he should continue exploring the bounds of the human mind.

  • I WANT TO CHILL.

  • Too bad she's an idiot.

  • Penis

  • @xSebas6089x you wierdo :P

  • that girl was super cute, would love to meet her lol, if youre reading hit me up ;)

  • sounds like the guy from bruce almighty

  • @ItachiPepaj because its the same dude...

  • @distroya9 Go kill youself

  • @distroya9 naw...sounds a lil like DMT. weed is good stuff, but it is week. there r far stronger n better things out there ;)

  • @distroya9 Weed ??? sounds like LSD! Lol

  • She reminds me of Karl Pilkington

  • @annata12 She has the EXACT same expression on her face.
