Very nice shells! Do you sand / file to round the shell and cut the bearing edges by hand (as per Smileythejazzcat) or do you use a Lathe / Router ? Very cool whatever method!
@howycwap probably dont need this answered any more, but you just gotta measure, find where all of your lugs will go etc. then be sure to use a piolot bit (1/8") first and then use your finished size bit because bigger bits tend to jump around.
likei know i gotta measure but....i suck at that, therefore do not trust my drilling skills. i feel like if im a bit off id screw the whole thing over
@sessiondrummer127 try big staves , you wil lose more wood , but you wil like the glue part :) it are long parts to glue , take less staves

@butkicker75 I think it's 30 degrees. there are 12 boards of wood and a circle has 360 degrees, 360 divided by 12 is 30.

how do you drill the holes with precise accuracy? i know how to get an a rough spot but i need to know how to get exact holes
