This will be the original version; Superior got in to trouble with it looking identical to Pac-Man and had to rerelease it, with a modified Snapper sprite.
As with your comment about Zalaga, the odd names are to avoid lawsuits. So games such as Defender -> Planetoid, Pac-Man -> Snapper, Galaga -> Zalaga...
I'm sure the Snapper I remember was a little yellow dude in the green hat, so it looked a little less like Pacman! My mum used to love this game, and I had it on cassette. She got frustrated with it and broke the cassette loader! ;_; Still after that I got a 5 3/4" drive, and loads of new games! :D
Yeah, apparently Acorn were going to be sued by Namco so they released a version with a man in a hat. I'll see if I can find that version and upload it. Whoa, tape games, "Data rewind tape" etc. arrrrggghhh!
Did anyone ever complete Baron or Quest?

I played this on an Acorn Electron 64k and loved it. I scored well into the hundreds of thousands, but still couldn't beat my BIL.
I keep trying to find a safe way to play it on my pc. Any ideas?
Anyone remember "Sphynx Adventure" that came in the same package?
And Pac Man is a rich man's what??
