I just saw all the comments to this video (I'm the violist) I think that the fact that this was put together without lots of rehearsal is pretty amazing. Also I like the drummer... and the singer... There, I said it.
@Hanna0312 Also when we did the recording we were missing a couple of people. The same violinist played both parts and our trombonist also played the trumpet part. Mad props to both of them!
Great job guys - where did your singer learn the pronounciations of the lyrics? The lyrics aren't hard to find but turning them into actual words I found difficult!
Learn Icelandic phonetics and listen to the song :) ll being welsh ll, þ being th as in think, ð being th as in those, au being oi, h before a letter is sounded like a light k :)
my friends and i are trying to put this together for our gcse accompaniment performance. well done, this is really good! one thing, hoppipolla was too fast, and the drums to it were not playing a simple 8 beat. however, in med blodnasir, i dont think the drums were 'excited' enough! is your drummer actually a drummer? no offence :) x
we did this for fun. i'm the drummer, i didn't want to play it exactly like the song plays it. it's called a cover. and yes... i'm actually a drummer because.. i play the drums? but no i didn't play in high school if that's what you mean

I think I'll listen to this while a study. Sad, light, and confident music is especially good for that.

Wtv the lower string instrument is needs some work, and vocal intonation was weird, but not bad guys!
