Egyptian attacked Israel with 80.000 again 500 Israeli soldiers? Egypt could never fight 1:1, it needed always help from other Arabs nation and had always enter into a war with 50:1 soldiers. Egypt always had to ask other Arabs nation for help and come least from 2 or sometime 4 sides. WHY? BECAUSE EGYPTS ARMY IS WEAK AND THEIR SOLDIERS COWARDS. The 3rd Army was completely encircled, running out of supplies and ammunition. The only reason Israel didn't crush the army was because of US intervention as a result of Soviet Union's threat to attack Israel if they moves forward. Perhaps you remember the images of Egyptian soldiers running towards UN convoys to get food and water.

The problem with the Egyptian army was they could not find the way to Tel Aviv, so they showed the Israeli army the way to Cairo.

I just wonder why Egypt begged for cease fire and why Egypt could not win the war or find the Israeli border.

Israelis nice and gives back your land and you use that as an opportunity to say you won the war?
