The atress who plays Ivetta, Natasha Alam, is Russian. She speaks Russian fluently. Alex does have a strong accent, but the Russian dialogue had to speak is clear. I was especially impressed since he wasn't just speaking--he was angrily yelling in a foreign language, but I was able to understand every word.

Also, some day I'd like to work internationally, and I'd much rather go to Russia and Eastern Europe (I've also studied a little bit of Polish) than most other places. Russia is just so fascinating!

@katrinmay1984 I was actually surprised, as Russian in TV goes - he speaks it surprisingly well :) He has an accent of course, but still. Most of the Russian I hear in TV is terrible. (Take the Russian in Dollhouse for example, goodness gracious.)
