It's the process of making mocchi (balls of sticky rice paste). The rabbit in the moon is supposed to make it. It takes two people, one to mash the rice and another to knead it.

When Ammy is carrying Nagi to Orochi dressed as a maiden, you can clearly hear Nagi say "Nani?" as in "what?" or "huh?" When the characters say one word phrases, you can clearly hear the Japanese dialogue. :D

@darkneji7 That's sort of believeable, yet I have the english version and if I listen ccarefully I can understand what they're saying. Maybe my brain's just trying to pull sense out of the jibberish. I still LOVE the game though.

The blob is actually mochi which the Japanese eat during the new year. It's kind of a sticky rice cake.

Anyway... THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR POSTING THIS!!! I am practically a rabbit and the rabbit is my sign and thus of course this was my favorite one. XDDD I've been looking all over for this scene.

It doesn't necessarily *have to* be on New Year's Day. But yeah, it's the "featured food" (couldn't think of better term...) on that day. Be careful when you make mochi though. If you don't warm it up in the microwave at the right temperature, it pops, and the sticky content sticks to the microwave. Trust me, it's not fun getting it off.... XD

It is annoying for the first 30-60 mins of game time, but by then you start getting absorbed in the storyline and characters so it doesn't stand out as much. :D
