1st Century Church vs. Today's Church

We must follow Yahshua Messiah. It is His Will that must be done. If we abide in Him then we will love all people as He loves us. God has called us to this and we only become more divided. Why? Because the church is corrupt. There must be a cleansing. There must be a healing. Only Jesus can do it. We must all pray and confront the churches themselves. This is the only way. Pray for strength and go forth. The Spirit will lead you. Call ALL CHRISTIANS TO ACCOUNTABILITY to obey the voice of Jesus!

Feeding and clothing and sharing is just ONE part of it. But it's the LOVE for all the brethren that is the thing. The only 1st century church model was the City Church - one body per city under Christ's headship. No factions, divisions, denominations, taking the names of men - all ONE under Christ. Church of Ephesus, Church of Laodecia, Church of Smyrna, Church of Jerusalem. Church of Sacramento, Church of Kansas City, etc. THAT is where we should be headed.

Our church in Sacramento too, and we help poor people in other countries and support ministers in other countries who spread the word of God. Our church does not pay pastors or people who participate in church. We believe in 1st century Church and we don't want to fall away from that.

Man, I feel so bad for those people. Ever more I have a desire to help those who need help, and I thank the Lord for that. This year I'm growing a garden and I want to give to a mission outreach in Winnipeg that feeds the homeless, I hope they take vegetable produce.. We can all do something, even if it's so little.

Great comments this encourages me. Heath and I are going to make a headstone for Gremlin (the man who gave his life) and place it on the dirt path where he died. By the way the District Attorney who filed charges against him went to his funeral and gave food to our cause. :) --that's the effect he had on people--

woow..... touching video.... I love the feeling of walking downtown and seeing people I don't even know! and feeling love and this great desire to know them, and thinking "That person is going somewhere, his struggles, his achievements, His needs, His goals. Who is he? Where is he going?" I feel so drawn and an overwhelming feeling of love for that person comes upon me so much so I was on the bus just yesterday and I had this huge smile and I felt like I wanted to jump up and down screaming :P.

@LifesSmile There is nothing greater than feeding the poor. I rather give food, which is already cooked and a drink than money bec. at times money will hurt them bec. satan will temp them into buying drugs or alchohol. So this is awesome, to see them give food to them.. and clothes... its Awesome!

Wow, what a great servant of the Lord; makes me realize that my feeble attempts to serve are sadly lacking. It's time for believers to slow down and hear from God, and to understand what he is saying and revealing in these perilous times.
