  • @lwst82 no its not....if you could hold a squat with your body weight on the bar without it gettin you as fast as the chair then maybe....

  • i pull a muscle in my ass because my hockey couch made us do it for 10 min and if we got up we had to do it longer.

  • Try it without the wall, like bending your knees 90 degrees but keeping your back straight and dont lean against anything, arms in front

  • So I subscribed, and uh, I really want to get 6 pack abs, I'm 6'5 @ 205, and want to also get some upper body strength too. I run about 3-4 miles daily to get to at least 10% body fat to to visible see my god given abs, but just want to improve them. You seem like the guy to come to for some instructions and motivation. I'm at a low point in my life where I just want to look good and feel good about myself. I'm passing up the bars with friends and girl because I want to feel good. Help me

  • @ScottHermanFitness Lol I kinda knew it was a leg excersize but it isn't that effective... and no my legs didn't shake :p I am used to do leg excersises :D

  • @suparpowers there's a study that proves that this exercise can help you run a mile in 30 seconds less

  • @garzaesparzagustavo most reasonably fit people can run a mile in under 10 minutes. I can run one in 7.

  • @cicirunner no man. hurting knee or back is not a nature of any exercise. if your knees hurt and you can solve the problem. i suggest you to do some other exercise. be careful while doing any exercise. =]

  • We´d to do this on gymnastics lesson once. Our most athletic guys barley made it to the time limit (4min), but one girl sat for 10 whole min. :o impressive

    Here are a couple of tips to make this exercise better/safer:

    wedge a skateboard between your back and the wall.

    place a stool under your ass to prevent yourself from going down too far.

  • I do this all the time for soccer! We call it a static squat and I can do it for 5 min straight! I did it for one min and the next day I saw an inch of muscle popping off my thigh and the day before none, NO EXAGGERATION. Ever since then I've been doing 2 5 min intervals daily.

  • This was one of the exercises I was prescribed after I dislocated my knee...Ended up making 9 minutes lol.

  • I love this workout! Legs are the parts of my body I work out the most and this is what I usually do after a workout, when I'm resting, drinking a cup of chocolate milk.

  • @KrazePro18 I do not think that the main idea of fitness is to do as many push ups as possible. 1000 is much to much. We should do several types of exercises during an hour. But to do 1000 push ups ( I do not say that is impossible) it may become boring after a time.

  • This was the punishment in elementary school gym... and they'd make us hold the position for many minutes... 1/2 hour or more sometimes...

  • @keitho97 You do realise he gets shet load of money from this videos right? You can still say he does it for free towards us as we dont have to pay anything, but he does get money from youtube ads (and he also has ads on the video itself).

I am not aware of his personal finances, and I would assume that you arent either (it isnt any of our business to begin with)..If we can get fitness tips for free and a sponsor pays him - I dont care.. so much for posting a positive comment.. thanks for the negativity
