I grew up play Tony hawk on the sega dreamcast. Great game great music. This song is my favorite. But the was back the good old days when games were not politicaly correct. Nobody cared if the music had cussing. Go officer dick!

man, a lot of really good bass players use picks, like matt freeman from rancid, for instance. it's all about what kind of tone your going for. i usually prefer finger style as well, but that doesn't mean its any better or worse than using picks. all im saying is don't diss the video on the grounds of "ska bassists don't use picks", because a lot of them do.

i know alot of them use picks, fat mike of NoFX, but the vast mijority of ska bassist tend not to. the guys of streetlight and catch 22 dont, reel big fish. aquabats when they were still ska... and i just assumed.

Hey with the guitar. It's out of sync, and also, note in ska that you have lift your fingers slightly after each upstroke. Just so if you do another thing like this it'll be more realistic.

Otherwise it's really cool!

the majority of ska upstrokes are also bar chords, and like tripsey128 said you lift your fingers slightly off the strings to mute it.
