when I first bought my iPhone I was using it every day, but mostly now I just use it for GPS or avoiding conversation. Texting is also very user-friendly, but most phones have good text features now...I would get rid of mine, but the convenience of finding new places to eat or hang out and having an app cross-referencing distance from my location with review ratings is too good to give up.
hey man I never liked apple I have android but iPhone 5 comeing sprint in Oct thinking about geting it ....... Plus sprint only one has unlimited plan and its great to have the internet in your pocket
I heard the iphone lags, so I'm not mad keen on buying one. I pay $30 a month for my phone though, which includes the cost of the phone, that's pretty standard in Australia... I do like apple though since I have a macbook :)
I have the original droid. Its pretty good. Its getting kinda slow now and there are a few bugs. Im considering getting the new iphone when it comes out because they are releasing iOS 5. Its going to be similar to the android OS. I use the internet all the time on my phone. Its nice to have when you are bored to check facebook and twitter. Its also nice to have just to look stuff up. I especially use it when Im BS-ing at the bar the check facts and trivia.
@kingferro7 haha, I'm kind of excited. As for the $100, is that just for you or do you have others on your plan? We pay $129 for 4 people currently...
@JosephToJ yeah its just for me ahah but i works out good as i text and ring and use the internet on it loads, and my plan makes all them unlimited, if i would have got a cheaper plan i would of gone over $100 haha!
and you should be excited the iphone changes you! haha lol
Apple products are expensive, but they are a little better quality than other computers. I have an iPhone. I really wanted access to the internet, so I wanted one when the first edition came out, but waited, so I could get more for my money. I have found having access to email and the internet everywhere I go very helpful. I have no regrets.
@garysdeskcom Cool, a lot of Apple people talk about the quality so I'm glad to hear that. I think having the internet with me at all times will prove to be useful.
He resigned as CEO! He is still a chairmen and a spokes person for Apple. Same power less responsibility. I have an iPhone 4, kinda getting bored with it but I love the smooth response that it has. But what ever brand you get I would recommend you getting a smart phone vs a basic phone.
why don't you just get a phone that's not apple? that's what I have. iPhones seem cool but the touch pad is too small for my fingers. I just have an iPod.
@scifigrl92 Honestly the iPhone is the only smart phone I've ever semi-liked. I have a few friends who have one so I've been using them a little here and there to get used to.
I have an iPhone 3G model and yeah the data package is kind of expensive per month. The iPhone is great for e-mail, web, maps, and apps. Call quality from ATT and camera is okay for me, but the iPhone is not so great on its price or for someone who needs just the minimal phone requirements to get by. I own both Apple and Microsoft products and both work great. The only thing I don't like about Apple is the products are a bit overpriced. Nice video by the way.
@JosephToJ Yeah, I think people buy these products no matter what the price is, though it prices out people on a budget. Anyways I think there was some news about iPhone's new phone today. The iPhone 5/4S/whatever they will name their new iPhone is coming out in October.
I have the Iphone 4. Love it. I agree the data plan is pricey even for the limited access of 200 MB. I pay $15 for that plan. I had 2 GB, but it was just too much. I also had tethering which I eliminated. Though, you do find urself conveniently using the data plan. It does come in handy to look up something on the spot. The best is when you find WI-FI which is easier accessible and doesn't use your data. I hear Iphone 5 won't be much of an upgrade though. So if they have a deal on 4, go for it.
i dont know if you remember this, but for some reason i do...it was right when the iphone came out, we had that one class together and this guy sitting in front of us was flirting w/ this girl and he whips out his iphone and he's like "..so whats your number" - and i remember you and i just rolled our eyes lol

Apple brand seems overrated, I love my ipod touch, but for smartphone or tablets I'd go with the competitors.
