interesting - i just came here from your link in that old avweb thread about this. And yeah aside from being firm it looks a lot better from this perspective - he banged it down on that threshold alright!
Very good landing. Perfect example of a short field approach and touchdown. Speed must have been right on. There was no float and the touchdown was firm. No bounce so the speed and rate of descent must have been ok.
