  • 35W or 55W?

  • lol hids in reflectors not good -.-

  • the light of these HID bulbs doesn't look right

  • Comment removed

  • you have no gas

  • im looking to get pure white hid's but im not sure what would be better it seems like 4k 5k and 6k are all white but i want the best ones what would you say?

  • are those 35 watt or 55 watt HIDs? Thank you

  • the brightest is 4500k which is what is stock in hid cars. Its the closest color to dfaylight and produce the most amount of lumens.

  • LOL look at the car with halogen, looks like it's running a candle compared to the HID xD

  • @sidehop hahahahahahahaha :D

  • Do all 2005 T5 AWDs come with xenons? are they standard?

  • What "brand" Hid are those? looks nice

  • looks great man, but i have a question.

i just bought some hid light bulbs from ebay for cheap.

can i just swap those lightbulbs with the ones i have or do i need a special kit?

  • whats the difference between 5000k and 8000k they look like the same colour pattern but 8000k are a bit deeping looking? and 5000k have a brighter look too them? i want that teal green/blueish colour is what im going for in my 1.8t jetta

  • @xtremetommy works the other way 4000k will be more yellow, 8000k is blue

  • @xtremetommy 4k is yellowish, 5k is pure white, 6k is blueish...

  • @xtremetommy

the higher the number, the more color it has... 5000°K is white but 6000°K is pure white and 8000°K is white with a little bit of blue

  • @xtremetommy 3000k is yellow, 4300k is pure white, 5000k is "diamond" white, 6000k is the most common for cars with stock HID's (white with blue tinge), 8000k is that ricey blue, 12000k is violet. And 30000k is completely unnecessary.

  • @xtremetommy 4300 k is oem, 5000-6000k is white, 8000k is light blue

  • @xtremetommy 4000k is yellow buddy

  • No, 4000k is whitish-yellowish. 5000K is pure white. Just look on any Kelvin color scale online.

  • @VaNdAlL04 be warned, the color does not always come up the same, i bought 2 sets of 6000k lights for my motorcycle and car, my car was a 9007 bulb and my bike was an H7 bulb, the cars lights look blue and my bike is pure white, so im geussing something to do with the type of bulb alters the color it gives out

  • @VaNdAlL04 4300k which is the standard OEM xenon, is slightly yellowish, pure white is 5000k and from 6000k -> it tends to be blueish :) so if you want a blueish light, like you said, go for the 8000k :)

  • did you put in projectors or the standard housing?

  • those are not projectors, they're HID's and all I did was replaced the bulbs (H7's) and ballsts

  • Wish i could get my 2005 S40 HID's working!! - generic kits don't work - i'm working on it :-) Worked fine on my 2001 S40!

Check my vids out for my lowered S40...nice job.

  • i saw your S40 on vspeed. i am actually thinking of buying an 04+ s40 after I get tired of my car, but the turbo on the new s40 is so limited

  • vspeed? whats that?

  • i saw your S40 on vspeed. i am actually thinking of buying an 04+ s40 after I get tired of my car, but the turbo on the new s40 is so limited

  • You mean it is limited in that it is a low-pressure turbo? Have it tuned. 260-270 bhp at least. That is not limited. In Sweden we have a lot of options when it comes to tuning our volvos.

  • so so clean
